(inspired by Wishydoo) What's the speed limit on the road you live on?

I live on a two-house-long dead end street, so there isn't an official speed limit. The road I'm off of is 30 mph, but there is a very long stretch of straight road that people fly down. I used to, but now I'm pretty good.

most of the road is 35 but about a quarter of a mile before our house it changes to 40.

25 mph, when we are lucky people will actually slow down and do it!:(

There isn't one posted (we're out in the country and there's not really much of a reason to be on our road unless you live on it). Does this mean I can go as fast as I want? lol. Of course with three very sharp curves and assorted hills I don't really want to go too fast.

On my street it is 50 but slows to 40 in the school zone which I have on both sides of my house.

Oh did I mention that is kilometres per hour :rolleyes:

So that is about 30 mph and 25 mph,

But I live on a hill and people fly coming over top of it. But I let the Police sit in my driveway to catch them. The fact that I work at the Police Station helps LOL..

Have a Disney Day!

Oh JºoºhnG - Pretty much the same here! :teeth:
* 50 kilometres/30 mph
* live on hill
* police catch speeders :eek: about every 2 months on the street where I live. :rolleyes:

Nice to be missed, Kitty34. Will be posting more soon. ;)

We need a couple of other countries to weigh in as to what the speed is where they live. (And they shouldn't worry if it's in kilometres as we can convert it to MPH.) :)

Yes, I agree, Sharby......I would love to hear the speed limits of other countries even tho you guys will have to do the converting. Metrics, I'm afraid, isn't a strong point of mine.:o :)

It's 40, but a lot of people think it's higher. Occasionally we get the motorcycles racing at 2am. :rolleyes:

About 19 years ago, the speed limit in the cities in germany was 35 k. Some were streets were lower, but that was the speed limit in cities. Or at least any where I went. It was a question on my international drivers test. :teeth:

I live in the split of 2 roads. One is 35 (but people drive 80 on it:rolleyes: ) and the other is 25 (people drive about 90 on it:rolleyes: ).

20, but since i live in the cul-de-sac people are usually only driving 5-10 miles per hour...

Course you are! ;)
