Inspired by vow renewal thread: Where did you get married?

I hate having my picture taken and from our recent trip to Disney there might be one or two with me in them, but I love showing off my wedding pictures.

We were married on Castaway Cay in the Bahamas on our DCL cruise. My parents, his parents, our son, and my bro and sis were there. It was beautiful! I wouldn't change a thing! It was important for us to do something my son would like also, since our marraige affected him to. After the cruise we had 5 days at WDW and then a few days at my GMIL in Bradenton.

I was married in the Wedding Pavilion at Walt Disney World. We then watched Illuminations during our pre-reception, followed by our reception in the American Adventure Pavilion in Epcot. I wouldn’t change a thing about it! I was initially concerned since we wanted a very religious ceremony, but once we found our minister, he suited the wedding ceremony to us perfectly.

Kelleigh: Love the pics!! You two look like a very nice couple. :thumbsup2 Barefoot on the beach....how great is that!! :sunny:

I got married at Sunset Pointe at WDW. For the reception dinner we ate at O'Hanas and then we took our guests on a Wishes Cruise aboard the Grand One. Loved it!!

Wow, that sounds really nice. Nice combination of fun and romance. BTW, I like your wedding pic in your sig. Just like a princess..... princess:

Really, I'm a sucker for a good wedding story whether it's a full blown formal affair with 500 people or a spur of the moment Vegas drive thru quickie; it's all about the love. :lovestruc

Traditional church wedding here. No exciting story. :guilty:

Rex Rules was one of my bridesmaids though!

We were married at the Wedding Pavillion in WDW. Our reception was at Atlantic Dance Hall on the Boardwalk followed by a dessert party in EPCOT. It was a great day!

On the fourth floor balcony of the Wilderness Lodge! :cloud9:

My favorite place, my Prince Charming...what more could a girl want??? :goodvibes

Thank you! It was nearly perfect for us. We wanted it to be just us, but his parents wanted to be there. His parents are wonderful, but they drove us a bit nuts when it came to the wedding. My parents said "have fun. Show us the pictures when you get back."

Side note...we're about the same age as you and your hubby. I'm 35 and he's 36. No kids yet though. We'll be celebrating anniversary #2 in June.

We were married at Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood in Oregon. It was a beautiful day sunny and warm. We had only family and very close friends so it was a smaller wedding only about 60 or so at the most. My DH has a close friend who was a minister so he married us. We then had our honeymoon at WL. It was like we never left Oregon. We try to go back to TL and stay for our anniversary every year. not sure if it will work but I will try to post a photo.
:wave2:

We got married at a tea salon, in a very small inn, with only immediate family (13 total) :cloud9: . Afterwards, we had a private dinner in the salon. Very intimate and small and we felt like we rented the whole place out!

I got married in the Center Meetinghouse of a historic 1830s museum village, and had the reception in the Tavern there. We had a horse drawn carry-all bring the guests to the ceremony and reception since vehicles are not allowed inside.

It was very special, especially since I grew up going to camp there, dressing in costume and working in the village.

On our favorite place - the beach, Longboat Key Florida...and then on our honeymoon we were married in Jamiaca on the beach as well.

We got married here, in San Francisco. Reception was in the top floor of the tallest building in SF with views from the Bay Bridge all the way to the Golden Gate. It was beautiful.

The coolest part is they now have a replica of it in CA Adventure. How many people have a replica of their wedding site inside a Disney park? Closest I could get to a Disney wedding, lol!!

It was indoors, in a Victorian greenhouse with tropical plants, a fountain and two gazebos. Sort of bringing the outside in--good thing, too, because it rained cats and dogs! But it was very rainforest-like inside, so it was appropriate.
Some pictures from the conservatory website:
