I definitely need my "alone time" or I will crack needless to say, with my family knowing this I get all the alone time I want

I LOVE being alone and really don't function well if I don't get enough alone time.

This is exactly how I feel. I start getting real cranky if I don't get some alone time. I became an empty nester in July when my daughter moved out. Right now it's just me in 1500 sf of house and I love it!!!!!!

It'll be interesting to see what happens when I retire in 7 years. I sometimes will go through an entire weekend without seeing or speaking to anyone. I actually enjoy this. I bet I could go at least a week without "needing" to speak with someone once I retire.
