Inspired by the Pleakley thread . . .

All around WDW there are kiosks for DVC. Some of them (most of them? ALL of them?) have cool "statues" of characters and/or other large items around them. For example, in Tomorrowland, Pleakely from Lilo and Stitch is standing there with a suitcase in a Hawaiian-type shirt. I took a picture of DS with him!

In the Poly, there is a HUGE surfboard by the DVC kiosk--got a picture of DS there too!!

So what other ones do you know of--where are they, what are they and have you taken pictures????

Ok, is this a BAD question? I thought I would gets tons of responses--and tranform that into new picutre opportunities. I know there have to be more than just those two!!! Does anyone know of others?

You know - I had never even noticed or paid attention to those - but now you make me want to look!!

Oh and I noticed your countdown to earning your MSW - I got mine in 2003 from UK - so hang in there!! You don't have much time left and it will be well worth it!!

I believe the one in MGM is a yellow checkered taxi, although I could be wrong. I took a picture of my bf next to it but alas I can't find it amongst the 400+ pics we took on our trip. If I do, I will post it!

In Adventureland in the MK there are a bunch of old fashioned trunks & suitcases on a bagage cart.

How about the DVC kiosks in Downtown Disney-particularly the West Side? I don't remember if there were any statues around them or anything. However, I do remember a cardboard backdrop with holes where you can stick your head in (good photo ops) somewhere around that location.

I forgot all about DTD!! I'm sure there's plenty of them there. I know there probably are some others at the Moderate and Deluxe resorts too. Like I posted earlier, I know about the one at the Poly--its a surfboard. Does anyone know about GF or the CR?
