I HATE shopping for jeans. I'm no skinny minnie, but I'm also not what I'd consider a big girl in general. I do have wide hips and a big butt, and my stomach isn't as flat as I would like it to be. Because of my hips and big butt, it's next to impossible to find jeans that don't gap in the back. If by some miracle they don't gap in the back, then my butt is hanging out and they sit wrong in the front and my belly pooches out over the top of the pants. Is anyone in the same boat, and what jeans are out there? I do like the Dreamer style, from Old Navy.

Since I've lost weight I've had this problem; I have YET to find jeans that actually fit me well. What size do you wear, normally? I'm still at a size that isn't easily found at a lot of places (16) in some areas, but in other areas my size is much smaller. Ugh! :headache:

Okay, I thought this was an Anti-Gap thread. I love my Gap Jeans, so you had me worried :rotfl2:

In Old Navy jeans I wear between a size 6 and 8 - I feel like their sizes are not consistent. I have two pairs of Dreamer jeans, and yet when I went to buy another pair this past weekend, they were too small. I own a pair of their Sweetheart style as well in a size 6 and had the same problem when I went back for another pair, but their size 8 was huge on me. Any non-Old Navy jeans, I usually wear a size 10.

I have not tried Applebottom, I guess I should do that.

Not at all, my only problem with Gap Jeans is that their "curvy" style doesn't fit me. They are all either too big, or too small.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad you wrote this, I just bought a pair of The Dreamers and I tried on a 16 WAY TO BIG got a 1 WAY TOO SMALL went with a different color 14 and the fit, I mentioned it to the lady who rung me up and she looked at me like I had 3 heads lol
I find that they do have room in the waist, I have a tiny waist but big hips and butt, I also like Lane Bryant jeans

My best fitting jeans are custom made jeans from QVC. You give them your measurements from a few places, answer some questions, pick what features you want the jeans to have, length, and color, and they make them for you. If they don't fit correctly, you can send them back, answer a few more questions, and they'll make them again at no additional charge.

Go to QVC.com, and in the search, type in Personify. There is also a video you can watch explaining the process. I've been doing this for a few years now.

They store the info, so if you want to re-order, its easy. And you can make changes on the re-order like color, length (capri)....

If you completely hate them, you can send back for a refund also.

I just re-ordered another pair. And I'm going to order a black pair soon.

LEE Jeans. Their whole advertising has been based for decades on being the No-gap jeans. And it is true. :thumbsup2
