When I was little the Easter Bunny brought one small basket and then hid little "nests" of easter grass filled with jelly beans, chocolate eggs, marshmellow eggs, malted milk eggs -- he would hide them under chairs, in corners, inside cabinets --

But I haven't ever heard of anyone else doing this -- everyone I have mentioned it to thinks it is crazy --

Help me here - was my family crazy? Did we make this up ourselves or did someone else's Easter Bunny make nests too?

No, we had baskets with the grass in them. My kids don't get the grass, I line our baskets with fancy tissue paper...I hate all that little grass stuff all over...the kitties think it is play stuff for them!

The bunny just hid hardboiled eggs and plastic eggs with candy when I was a kid....and our baskets.

But I guess the bunny started to worry about the real eggs, cause now he just hides the plastic ones.

No, but that is a cute idea. I think I will do that this Easter.

Our bunny leaves footprints-made out of flour, and also bunny poop-little chocolate covered raisins. He also rubs against the brush outside of our house as he is running away, so some of his fur-cotton, gets stuck on the branches.
