what is your definition of personal hygiene? someone on the thread (don't remember who) mentioned coverup for a teenager who was breaking out as part of personal hygiene. personally, i don't consider makeup part of personal hygiene. yes, i wash my face, take showers, wash my hair, wear deodorant, etc. but even now when i get a monthly pimple, i don't cover it up. it looks really obvious since i never wear makeup. :p

i don't mean this as a "slam" or anything, i'm just curious b/c i never thought of makeup as part of personal hygiene (probably b/c i hardly ever wear it! LOL) i'm interested to hear other's opinions. :)

No, I don't consider make up hygiene, just enhancement;)

I take two showers a day most times, although I only wash my hair once unless I'm cleaning heavy or gardening or something. And of course, I use personal non-stink products, LOL:p ;)

No, I don't think of makeup as hygiene. Makeup is completely optional (at least, it is to me), and hygiene is not.

Makeup isn't a requirement for good hygiene. As long as a person takes a shower regularly, brushes their teeth, combs their hair, puts on deodorant, and washes their hands after doing their "business" - I'd say they're alright.:D
