Which one is the best one to buy that can use the most games??? How about one that can use old games and won't be outdated soon???? We have a N64, but can't get many good games anymore. My DD plays it alot but is getting tired of the same games.

The playstation 2 plays both the original playstation 1 games and the new games. It can also be used as a DVD player. It, by far, has the largest selection. You can pick up many of the older games used. DH is a video game fanatic so we have all of the systems.

I agree, PS2 (though I must be missing something on how you save, because I can't get any PS1 games to save on the PS2 )

Honestly, I like our new XBOX. We have the first generation Playstation, and it was nice.

I'm grateful that it was FREE! Anyway, I like the fact that it has a hard drive, and it is nicer than the first generation PS.

WE personally were going to buy a PS 2 for our kids for Christmas. The XBox was free, so that changed our Christmas strategy. (If only my daughter didn't need to be present to win, that would been saved as a Christmas present.)


Funny, I have been reading Xbox, and PS2 reviews. Some have been saying that they have gotten rid of the PS2 in favor of the Xbox.

Yes, it plays DVD's as well, but since we didn't have any DVDs we don't know how that works. (I'm sure its fine!)

We have ALL the different systems! No we haven't lost our minds! I have a DS18 who has bought them all.

Anyway, what I would suggest is to look at the games availiable for each system. Then buy the system that most suits your interests.

the greatest...because we didnt;' know any better...it was atari....then came the expansion module......for coleco vision.....then came the lull between kids and grandkids......I went and bought the super nintendo one year and then sat there and got about twenty games.....I wondered then why the games were being discounted for 2.99 each.....oh well......just purchased on line the two new controllers for it ....so now it is as good as new......our grandkids and also our son have playstation one and two.......and then the games on the computer are totally awesome........we are all spoiled rotten ....arent' we

"Best" is a subjective term. For some it might mean graphics or sound quality or the best titles.


I like my Xbox, but I love my PS2 & based on the criteria you mentioned, it's the best system.
