When my DD was in day care (RI), the toddlers and babies napped in cribs, and the older kids napped on cots. Every day I'd get a note reporting on DD's day...one day it said "she slept on a cart today."

Montessori, I think that was Steve Sweeney on that Cam Neely fundraiser he does. That has got to be the funniest line Ive ever heard from a stand up comic. "What Ah Ya? Retahded?" He just says it so perfect.

I think on that same show was the one(maybe even the same guy, I forget)talking about his friends from Southie...Joey Fitz, Mikey Fitz, Bobby Fitz, Sully, Sully, and Sully. (something like that)

Yes it was Steve Sweeny! I couldn't think of his name or the name of the show. We've seen it so many times. I think I remember the skit you mention too. All those good ol Southie names. A comedian can find a lot of good material in Boston. Just about everyone I know from there is FUNNY!
My Dad was one of the funniest men ever, you can ask anyone! He was born and raised in Southie. He lived right by Wollaston Beach until he passed away 2 years ago. He loved the Sox, The Celts, The Pats, the Blue Hills, The North End, The Pru...he really loved Boston.
He had a name he called some people, not usually to their faces though.

ROFL! I used to work with a woman(60 something) who was born and raised in Somerville. Lived there her whole life. She was your typical "Bostonian" and she would use that expression all the time. You just reminded me of her.
