I'm sure you've seen these lists before, i think the most famous is "You Know You're a Redneck when..."

How do you know you're addicted to the DIS? Let's see everyone's habits!!!!

I'll start:

I know I'm addicted to the DIS because.....

1) My home page is the DIS user control panel, with tabs opening simultaneously for the trip planning and community boards...

2) DW thinks I'm obsessed

3) "I'll just check my email" turns into email, DISboards, replying to posts, starting new threads, and leaving the house an hour later than planned

I know I'm addicted to the DIS because.....when I got home from DLRP last night at 11pm rather than unpack the cases and/or open the 5 days of post that was on the door step I logged straight on to the laptop to see what was happening on the DIS!

I know I'm addicted because I can't just nip onto the DIS I have to check every new post in my UserCP otherwise it mucks it up and we can't have that can we

I know i am addicted to the dis boards when-------------(i have a few )...
1,Dinner isn't ready for 5pm or it's a bit overdone.
2,My dh is talking to me+i have no idea until he shuts the laptop screen down on me.
3,I pop on to check my normal emails or ebay(as i sell)and i end up on the dis boards for the next 2-4hours.
4,I keep on saying'oh just one minute i'm nearly finished'(when dh is waiting to put the film on we agreed to watch)and i'm still on here 2-4hours later.
5,My dh asks me for permission if it's ok to look on the computer tonight.

LOL....I agree with all of the above Michelle especially number 5....my DH gets really fed up with waiting for me to get off the laptop all the time!

I had to buy DW a laptop so she can surf the net when i'm on the main computer!!!! Also useful as she's addicted to Sims 2 on the main one, so I use the laptop to DIS!

Even dd3 says to her Daddy if he's on the computer 'oh that's mummy's puter' and then she comes running to tell me that Daddy's on it+calls him a naughty boy .x.

you go for dinner and panic because you didn't call 6 months ago to make an ADR

You see numberplates like WF52 BWV and wonder if they're personalised for a DVc owner

you start to think EVERY trip abroad must consist of plans including where to eat and when

you actually have your best DIS buddy on your phone as their user name ( Hi Jen_UK!)

you see others posts so much you actually think they look like their avatar (hello Natalie, AKA Cinderella!)

when you mention in work that you're going on a mad camping spree with a bunch of people you met off the internet, and you're taking your child. (and everyone knows you should NEVER meet random people off the internet!)

when you'd prefer to turn down a cruise because theres no one to talk DIS with

Ds Adam alway says to me you on the dis again mammy , your brain will melt being on to long, but I just cant help it.

We are buying a new car at the mo and they have given us a choice of number plates (not personalised) and we can't decide between these three, they end in:

TOT
FLA
MCO

I think it's got to be FLA but DH and DD loves TOT.....unfortunately there wasn't a DIS !
