Debsters post the othe day about Fiestaware got me thinking......I realllllly like the plum color. Now my question to all you experts is where can you find it inexpensively? I'm thinking of a set of 6. Are there any other oulets other than the "official" outlet in West Virginia? As you can see I'm completely new to all of this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

Wow--My first inspired by. Cool.

I actually have had really good luck getting pieces on sale at Filene's (local dept store). When they have the 20% everything in the store, plus an additional 15% with a coupon, blah blah blah.

Believe it or not, I have also picked up some serving pieces at a local salvage chain called Building #19. I got a cobalt blue platter for $1.50. I got grey salt and pepper shakers for .25 each, and I got a teal pitcher for $3.00. (Prolly won't help you much, but this was my best bargain of the year!!!)

You could probably also do well if you caught a free shipping promo on Amazon.

:D Thanks for the suggestions. I've been checking it out on amazon as well as ebay. There are some inexpensive pieces on ebay in the color that I would like. I've got a feeling that with a little bit of patience I'll get all the pieces that I need. Unfortunately I'm a little bit impatient and want it NOW!! :o :D

i know my mother has found mine at marshall fields and a local chain called younkers. i can price out what a 5 piece place setting would cost i'm guessing around 20-25.00

I agree with Fire14, you should be able to get a 5pc place setting for $20. Of course, I have 12 place settings, so that includes 12 coffee mugs. I am the ONLY one in the house who drinks coffee!!! But my MIL always asks me to bring them to parties, because she does not have enough. LOL And, they are actually the perfect size, not a 'Tub o' Coffee' but big enough to be worth it.

Don't even get me started on on coffee mugs. I think I've got close to 40 mugs, mostly Disney, and I'm the only one who drinks coffee!!!! My DH jokes that we don't have room for dishes in the kitchen....just mugs. :D

I got rid of all our coffe mugs when I started with the Fiestaware. I actually took a box of about 50 of them to Catholic Charities. They had a division that help homeless families relocate to affordable housing. Most of these people had no furnishings, etc. I literally had 35 mugs from Vendors and Reps from work

I have 4 Disney Mugs, and the rest are Fiesta. At least I am not washing them constantly.

My local Cracker Barrel restaurant is selling Fiestaware. :)
