Alright, so I'd call it more poetic justice than revenge.

When DH and I were dating, for a long while, he still lived with his mom. If he was taking a nap or down for the night and I needed him for something, she'd tell me that he was sleeping and she refused to wake him up. I wouldn't have called and wanted him disturbed if it wasn't something important.

So, after we were married, I got to tell her that he was sleeping and I wouldn't wake him up. I figure that nothing that she could have to say to him could be important either.

That's a good one. I don't even answer the phone if my MIL calls. We have nothing to say to each other.

When we were first married, she used to call all the time and say, "hi, whatcha doing?" I told DH all the time that when she called and said that I was going to respond, "nothing, just having ___ with your son. What are you doing?"

I know he'd have killed me if I did it, but OH! it was so tempting!
