Do you have a cell phone? Are you a cell phone addict? Do you spend more time on your cell phone than your regular phone?

Do your kids have cell phones?

We are a cell phone family. Dh, oldest DD(12) and I have cell phones. My name is glo and I am a cell phone addict...2200 minutes a month and boy do I come close each month :) I guess that I can say atleast I have someone to talk too....

So what about you?

There are two cell phones here. Mine and my oldest dd's. I don't spend much time on it at all.

I have a cell phone. I don't use it much. My SO and I share minutes each month. 350 anytime with rollover, 5000 nights and weekends. We usually have minutes to rollover.:teeth:

My kids don't have cell phones, but my 10 yo DD really wants one. I told her she can have one when she gets a job.;)

DH has a work cell phone . . .I have a cell phone which I only use to call my MIL who lives in a toll call area . . .and I use it mostly on the free weekends. I have the cheapest plan $19.95/month with 50 free minutes per month and free nights (after 9pm) and weekends.

DD is getting my DH's old cell phone for her 14th b-day since I have to pay on it anyhow and nobody is using it . . .

My oldest inherited my old phone...we have mobile to mobile 1000 free minutes, so no excuse to for me to not know exactly where she is....ok, so I am a cell phone addict. Anyone know a 10 step program?

my kids make fun of me because I never use mine. I was driving one day and heard some strange music. I started fiddling with the radio tuner and the volume, but the music kept playing. Then I noticed the music was coming from my purse.............. my cell phone was ringing, and I didn't even recognize the ringtone:rolleyes:

DH & I each have one. I call DH on his when I need him and cant reach him by email or his work phone. Other than that we only use it if we are out and need to make a call(order food for pick up, etc...). As for mine...I dont even know the number off the top of my head. Most of the time I forget to take it with me when I go out, but I do like to have it with me in case of emergency. I think I may have used it 3 or 4 times in the 6 months Ive had it.

I have a family plan with my two sons. One son is constantly hogging all the minutes. DH would take him off, but we just renewed and upgraded their phones. I really feel the need to have them "reachable"! (DH is on his own plan.)

I do have a cell phone. I have electrical tape holding it together:p DW has the nice calling plan for me...10 mins a month within 1 mile ;) I actually have been told to go and upgrade the phone, I like to keep it to have people laugh at it...I never use it. Even when it was new I averaged about 7 mins a month:rolleyes: I keep it in the car for emergencies, I do not even know how to retrieve my voice mail messages off of it:rolleyes:
She uses hers much more then I do, my kids use thier's constantly :)

DH and I both have them. We have unlimited cell to cell with our plan and free long distance which make our phones perfect for a trip to WDW!! We no longer have long distance on our house phone.

My oldest DS has a cell phone and it's his lifelink!! He wouldn't be caught anywhere without the thing!! :)

DH and I don't have one but I wouldn't mind getting one.:D

I don't have a cell phone......can you believe it ;)

Used to, never used it. No reception at home or between home and town, so it wasn't much use.

DD has one.......she's away at college.

DH doesn't. Work will provide him with one, but then they could reach him whenever they want :teeth: < so he declined it ;)

I have a cell phone and so does dh. He wasnt crazy about having one but he is a UPS driver and its the only way I can get in touch with him during the day if I need him (or want him ;) ). My oldest ds doesnt have a cell but as soon as he starts driving in Sept Im getting him. I want to be able to reach him and him to reach me incase of an emergency.
As for me I talk on my cell phone alot. Im usually home during the day so I use my home phone but I dont leave my house without my cell phone and usually yak on the whole time Im gone. And yes I can talk and drive without running over people. With an earpiece its not really that hard.

I rarely use mine, have 30 free minutes a month and never use them all. It's $9.99 per month and I basically just wanted it in case I have a flat tire or car trouble on the road. I'm not a "phone person" at all, just don't like chit chatting on them for some reason. DH uses his for business. He just upgraded his plan, $39.95 per month for 200 anytime minutes, free nights and weekends and no roaming fees. He had to upgrade as his dopey brother-in-law calls him almost daily, even when we're on vacation up north and the roaming fees were awful! I once, nicely, asked him to please don't call him unless it was important because we don't have the free minutes like he does...for awhile he stopped, but then started right back up. So, now DH has caller ID so if he doesn't want to talk to him when he calls, he can always leave a message on voice mail. :) We still have another phone on our contract that our daughter had when she was in college, we weren't using it but still have to pay for it until January, so I gave it to my parents to keep in their car. It's only $9.99 too and gives them "peace of mind" in case they had trouble. After our contract expires I'll either let them pay the monthly bill, or consider that their birthdays/Mother's & Father's Day presents and keep paying for it ourselves.

We have 3 in our family. When each dd turned 16 they got theirs. Don't want my kids out driving without a way to call home if they need to. I can see that I'm gonna have to up the mins since youngest dd started using hers. :p

My dh and I both have them We have no roaming, Unlimited night and weekend and 500 moblie to mobile which is a god send. I would cut my plan back if I still had a pager but in order to get a pager I'd prob pay more for that than what I do for my cell phone. Plus i do a lot of traveling between Ohio and Michigan and like someone else says I used mine at Disney it was cheaper than using in room phone :)
