Inspired by Belle 2003's flu-do you get a shot?

I don't remember ever having the flu, and of course from what I have heard, I don't want to get it. But I REALLY hate shots....This year I think I am going to get FluMist if it is available. But if I know me, if it's not available, I probably won't get a shot.. Stupid, I know.

But last year I took the boys to get one before the shortage. No FluMist available. I did not qualify for "necessity" during that shortage. (whew!) But I figured if I stop the boys from bringing it into the house, that's half the battle. No flu last year.

What a coward I am to have my kids get a shot, and not one for myself!! Am I the only yellow bellied coward when it comes to this???

I really have no choice when it comes to getting a flu shot. I have a kidney disease and asthma so I have to get one.

I never get one ---- my girls have never gotten one. We haven't had the flu either but are probably pushing our luck

I have a supressed immune system (med I'm on), Crohn's, and severe asthma and I still refuse to get one I hate shots!

And what's funny is I get an IV infusion every 6 weeks and blood drawn every 4 and I can handle those! Strange, I know.

I'm scared of needles too. It has probably been 25 years or more since I had the flu, so I'll take my chances.

I didn't this year, but 2 years ago I got a shot, and had the WORST flu EVER! SO, no shot for me this year. Last time I had the flu (feb.) it was very mild but I gave it to DH and he was one SICK puppy!

Never had a flu shot. Probably never will. I had the flu once (when I pregnant) and it was miserable.
