And yeah, the sweetpea is totally bummed about not being able to play this season. But we can't do anything about it.

The good news is that we will be leaving for WDW on wednesday!!! And we can't wait.

I'm so jealous. Not that I really want to go to WDW right now, though. I'm tired all the time and still have trouble eating. WHen I go back I want to be able to eat whatever I want!

We're planning on going in Dec. 2008. My kid will be almost 2.

Crabbiness is diminished, somewhat.

I didn't do my IV last night (bad Becky) and this morning I woke up and gagged over my kithchen sink for 10 minutes. Blah. But, then I went on to eat a brownie and everything was ok.

SIL and I went out to eat and shopping tonight. It's been a while since we have gone anywhere together where one of us didn't feel like total sh*t.

I get so frustrated shopping though- I can't pick anything out for baby because it is all either pink OR blue. Arg. Only 1 1/2 weeks though, and I'll be buying pink OR blue everything, I'm sure.

I am also up for a promotion and am getting a sinking feeling that I am not going to get it. I am going to be so bummed too. On the bright side, I am on a 2 week break from school between semesters.

I am getting ready for a garage sale tomorrow. To bad Becky isn't here...we are selling lots of pink and blue and neutral stuff! Unfortunately, the stinkin' wind is blowing about 30 mph steady, with gusts of 70 mph. That doesn't bode well for our tables tomorrow morning.

Wish me luck...all proceeds are going into the Disney fund for December!

ktpool- how'd the yard sale go?

I am officially off all IVs as of today, and for the first time in 2 months I get to skip a week going to the Dr.! Well, the Ob anyway. I still have to go see my surgeon on Monday to talk about my gallbladder and hopefully remove the catheter from my chest.

Next Thursday we're supposed to find out what the baby is, and I am so worried that the U/S technician won't be able to tell us. We ARE finding out earlier than most people- and I'm worried now that it's too early. If they can't tell I'm going to flip out.

I have only been home a few days and already I'm back to being bored out of my skull the minute my DH leaves for work in the afternoon.

I can't wait until this kid comes out. Then I'll actually have something to do in the evening.

My current neuroses lies in the area of breastfeeding, which I plan to do exclusively for the first few weeks/months. I just keep hearing about how hard it is. And I'm worried about my nipples. Just the thoughts of cracked/bleeding nipples is enough to send me into a fit of insomnia.

Garage sale was mediocre. We had 4-families together and all of the other women had other stuff to do so I was stuck there by myself for 6 hours. I only made $87, but I guess it is better than a kick in the head, to quote my husband Seriously, $87 is a meal for the 4 of us at Disney, so I can't complain!

Becky, I feel for you being home...I always think it would be great to be at home all day, but as soon as I am, I am bored out of my mind.

As for the breastfeeding, I hate to say it, but you are right - it is going to hurt for a little while. Keep the special lanolin (sp?) cream and start using it to soften everything up like in your last month plus the baby will be used to the smell right away.

I had a very early ultrasound as well. I worked in the hospital and they had a new piece of equipment. It was an internal ulturasound - yep, they put it, um, well, you know, and get the picture that way instead of the through the tummy. It was very cool!

I am glad you are feeling well enough to stay home alone - that is a good sign, right?

Do you have your names picked out yet? I remember that was one of our first conversations, but I am too lazy to go back and search for it

Names... Vayla (Vaylie) Marie for a girl, and Spencer or Wesley Thomas for a boy.

I'm so anal- I have read seriously every pregnancy/birth/breastfeeding book I can get my hands on. I have had nothing but TIME and lots of it.

When I'm working, I'm always wishing I didn't have to and that I could just stay home- but I am bored to death at home. (And yes, feeling good enough to be at home on my own is a great thing!). Plus, we could use all the extra money we could get now, and I'm stuck at home unable to work. So, I have to figure out how we're going to make this all work.

It's frustrating, but oh well- things happen for a reason.

That whole exchange did not seem to do well. My poor son STILL keeps asking if his last package is going to come. I suspected you were my secret pal, and FWIW, we use those popcorn containers ALL the time.

I get there on the 16th at the Contemporary. Are you leaving early? I would love to meet you!

Thanks!. I don't think I will be driving over that early, so darn! I could do a day trip the weekend before though! We have AP's, and we are there a LOT on the weekends.

I am soooooo in need of a vacation. I can't wait. And I am almost all packed. It doesn't get better than that. Well, if I was a size 5 it would be better. But I will settle for what I have.
