Hi Stace...you will have to tell me how Treasure Hunters was. I got involved in watching Modern Marvels about WDW - very cool. I even forgot about The 4400 being on. I am know watching the season premiere of The Dead Zone.

I think I out-geeked you tonight, lol!

Hi all.

FIrst day of work today- I'm pooped. It wasn't hard or strenuous. I just had to get up early, and I am SO not a morning girl. But- I really like it so far! Shoud be easy enough.

Anyway, BIL and SIL came over tonight and we floated in the pool. SO relaxing.

I gotta get to bed- talk more tomorrow.

Oh, and I finally tried on my Maid of Honor dress. UGH! It zips and fits, but I feel like a big fatty in it. Im gonna try to drop a few pounds in the next two weeks to make myself feel better though. And I still need to get it hemmed up and would like the halter pinched up a bit. I just want it snug so the twins behave you know. Too bad I can't just wear sweat pants and not hold my stomach in all night. Wishful thinking!

Anyway- here I am. I was having kind of a yucky day (financial woes- temporary, but getting me down nonetheless), but I'm feeling better.

The lady that is training me at work thinks I am a genius. Nice, huh? But- she's only known me for two days. Give it time.

Honestly, I never saw myself working at a bank- I always thought it would be too boring. I need a creative outlet- but I think this is going to work out great. I'm thinking since the hours at the bank are so good, hopefully I can work there and then work on my writing in my spare time.

My SIL is going to find out if she's having a boy or girl on August 2nd!! I'm excited. I think it's a boy.

They have a cute idea for the nursery- they are going to do a WDW theme: one wall will be AK, one MK, one Epcot, and one MGM! Then it will be primary colors and Mickey Mouse stuff.

Although- I am trying to talk her into waiting until she knows for sure if it's a girl or a boy- because I just KNOW that IF it does happen to be a girl, once she finds out she's going to want pink everything. (It's SIL's fav color anyway). But- she is insisting she won't change her mind.

I know I would. I'm not decorating anything until I find out the sex of the baby. If and when I ever get pregnant, that is.

Oh, and I forgot to tell you guys- my grandma has to have surgery on her back. She's having it done June 30th. She has NEVER had a surgery before (she's 67). In fact- I have never really seen her sick! Other then your regular run-of-the-mill colds and whatnot.

But- hopefully after she gets this surgery done she'll feel much better. I just worry about an older person having back surgery, you know? Well- anyone having back surgery is risky, really.

I am not sure...he is a Dr./professor at one of the universities. His name is Clay Nielsen. I also know this really cute guy named Rob who moved to St. Louis with his ex-wife (trying to work it out) and their 4 kids. Like the St. Louis area is some small town and you know everyone, haha!


Sorry about your grandma :-( My brother had back surgery 2 years ago and is now in as much pain as he was before his surgery, but the DR. said that he can't do anything else for him. So we may have to get a motorized wheelchair for him when we go to WDW in December. He can't walk very far. I don't see him very often, I feel really bad. They are flying and so are we...so I arranged to meet his family in Atlanta and so we can all get the ME together and he won't have to worry about anything (they have 3 young kids).

Yeah- the Clay I know is not that cool. And St. Louis *is* a pretty big area, LOL.

I actually live about an hour away from the city, although before we bought our house our apartment was only a 25 minute drive from downtown.

That's terrible that the Dr. can't do anything more for your brother. I guess medicine can still only do so much. It's just so sad that he's out of luck so young! There must be something they can do, or hopefully some new technology will be developed soon that can help him.

My brother's back trouble was caused by an accident he was in and his best friend was driving (though he wasn't hurt).

No more late nights for you I guess, now that you have to get up for the bank job, I suppose!
