Inspired by being a thread highjacker- the OT thread!

Great pic Beck. Im sooooo jealous though. It will be a few months till I get to go back. Grrrrr!!! Can't wait to see the rest of the pics.

Thanks Stace. I'm going to work on getting all the pics scanned and online so I can show everyone.

How are things going today?

I have to work with the office manager tomorrow.

And I swear, if I set the security system off again, I'm just coming back home and going back to bed. I really, really don't like working with her.

Speaking of co-workers- whatever happened to the lady who doesn't wash her hair?

Things are going alright today. Met someone new and started talking to him, he asked me out, so we will be going out either this week or next week. So thats good.

That chick from work washed her hair, well, not quite, she went and got her hair cut and they washed it for her. Then she didn't wash it again. Ewwww. Shes been on vacation out of the country for the last few weeks so its been nice. But she is supposed to return tomorrow. I just hope she has taken a bath and washed her hair.

I cannot imagine not washing my hair. Just thinking about it has me all skeeved out.

I have to find something to order from Barnes and Noble (to get free shipping). I think I need a good fiction book. Something to take my mind off of babies.

My poor SIL (speaking of having babies)- she is so sick. She threw up on the sidewalk outside of work today. :guilty: She's mad that she still has morning sickness, and I laughed at the fact that she was mad, and she keeps saying- "If you don't have morning sickness I'm going to be so pissed!"

It skeeves me out too thinking about not washing my hair. I have no clue how she does it. It grosses me out when she walks past me. ICK!

I consider myself sooooo lucky to not have had morning sickness. You're poor SIL.

Yeah- she's not feeling so hot.

I'm pretty sure I'll have morning sickness. I hope not- but I have stomach issues anyway. And, my mom had morning sickness with me the whole nine months. She was actually hospitalized twice. Ugh. Hopefully, mine won't be THAT bad.

I hear that.

I ought to start a club where people pay me to worry for them. I worry about everything, so much and so far in advance, that I know I do other people's fair share of worrying for them. I need to charge and make some money.

Heck, ill put my money out there if you will do the worrying for me. That would help me out and free up my time. I think you are on to soemthing.

I worry about everything. It's a little ridiculous. So, I figure- people can tell me what they want me to worry about- and I'll worry for them.

Ugh.

What do you think I could charge for that?

I would charge them on a sliding scale...it would depend on the problem that needed to be worried about. Something like worrying about a zit, $3 and then I would have it go up from there.

well, chick- I have got to go to bed. I'm getting all sleepy and stupid.

Goodnight!

Heck, for $3 a zit, you can make some pretty good money off me some days out of the month, lol.

I like this idea of charging for worry. :lmao: I'll give you ten bucks to worry about whether my tire is low on air or not. I can't tell.

My trip was cut short due to sunburn and sun poisoning. The sun in Florida really cooks pale Irish skin!!! :) I got blisters on my upper chest USING SUNSCREEN! I’m going to have to stay inside for a few days and will look ridiculous in my white uniform now that I’m magenta-colored (except eyes, which had sunglasses on)! :bitelip: I’ll have to deepen my tan and go again in August or something. (Darn, have to go again! :teeth: ) I got the “Been there, done that, GOING BACK!” bumper sticker. :goodvibes

It is also a little (and by “a little” I, of course, mean “immensely and unrelentingly”) humid in Orlando, which I know everyone knows but cannot help commenting on again.

Got one of the new rooms at the Poly, thank heaven. It is well themed (loved the tiki lamp base!) and very “usable,” and Lord knows that monorail comes in handy going to the MK…but it is still no Beach Club. :) I do think, though that it would be heaven for the Earth-toney, Bamboo-lovin’ crowd.

Expedition Everest was new for me this trip and I loved it! It’s no Stitch, that’s for sure. They did a good job on this one! I wish it had been a minute or two longer.

I went with a friend, and although she’s about THE biggest Mickey freak around, she’d never been. She loved all of it – the rides, themes, landscaping, she took it all in and summed it up by saying, “It’s NOT Cedar Point!” (one of our local amusement parks). We even went and stood in line at the Judge’s Tent so she could hug and get a pic with Mickey. And you should have seen her beam when the guy at the Crystal Palace said, “Hello, Princess” and Pixie Dusted her hair. She was so happy about that she told everyone she could…even told the Security guy – the one who watches you walk through the metal detector - at the airport about it! :lmao: Another WDW fan is born!

We took some anti-motion sickness drugs to ride Mission Space (the non-wimpy one) and then I fell asleep on Ellen’s ride. That combined with my Claritin just knocked me out.

It was a great trip, everything went well, we had a blast.

(OK, two bad things…1. Disney bathrooms seem to get more disgusting each trip. 2. The food at the Hoop-Dee-Doo didn’t have its usual supreme Yummyness. But all in all, it was a great trip.)

Welcome back Cool Beans, though I am sorry your trip got cut short. I get burned everytime I go to WDW even though I am wearing sunscreen, and I live here!

Sounds like your trip was fun though!

Man, I want to go back to WDW. Hey- did you wear your rainbow colored ribbon?

Thanks, A-mom. Guess I'm in good company. :goodvibes

:lmao: No, but my goofball friend said, "Hey, we can get married there!" on the monorail when they announced the GF Wedding Pavillion and tried to hold my hand once! I think she enjoyed watching me squirm.

Her DH found it all wildly amusing! :)

I'll never forget the two red-shirted guys wearing their Sleeping Beauty hats, though! princess: That was too funny.

Most of my arms and legs are have little white bubbles of dead skin where the burn is shedding, but my chest is still slick and hot (like it wasn't always! )

Beck, I swear to God if I had your address I'd drive over to your house and put a copy of Cold Sassy Tree in your hands and say, "Read it!" That's my last plug. Promise. :)

I'm off to bed. All this being burnt takes a lot out of a life-long northerner. :)

Guess who took today off?

CB - hope your burn is doing better today. I feel your pain. I have a sensitivity to the sun so I bubble up often, or get this odd bumpy rash thing. Now I am even more careful then Ive been before. Always driving with my arms and chest covered just in case.
