Since Beauty has such a great thread going on SO's I want to hear how wonderful your kids are :)

Go ahead brag a bit! (or a lot) :) Either one is fine.

I love my kids so much!

I love that they are so caring, gentle and huggy. They are really good with each other and honestly care about the other persons feelings.

I love how playful and fun loving they are. How they love to be with us and each other.

My kids are great!

how about yours?

Oh this one is so easy! John-Cole is a NUT! He is so funny and comes up with some of the most off the wall things. He is very much a loving child even though hes almost 12:eek: He makes wonderful grades and all the kids and teachers like him which makes me proud. He never meets a stranger and is always polite. Wow Binny I could go on forever.....

Here is a pic of my little nut, hes doing the karate kid thing

binny and Beauty:

I always said you can look into a child's eyes and see that they are loved!

I can definitely see that love in your kid's eyes!!

How great is my kid?

Well, today I broke to him the news that one of his favorite actors, Merlin Santana, had been killed. He looked sad, asked how it happened, then after a thought said... Wow! Grandma will get a chance to meet him! (in heaven) :teeth:

My only complaint about my son is that he is too full of too much JOY! I wish he would cheer down!

The first things I think about is how kind and helpful DS is to my mother, and how when introduced to someone he stands right up, looks them in the eye and shakes their hand:D

I know I'm biased, but she never hesitates to tell me I'm her bestest mommy even on the days when we've both been yelling and crying. She loves unconditionally and is the light of my life.

My three sons are very caring, humorous boys.:D

Brag time:
My oldest is real good at basketball

My middle son is very gifted in Math and Science and goes to a special "prep" school in those subjects.

My youngest has shown me and Dad, how hard one can work to achieve decent grades with a tough learning disability!:D

I'm blessed with three wonderful kids.

My oldest is very kind, especially to young children, and especially to his little sister. The sight of him on the floor playing with her beanie babies with her just melts my heart. He's a deep thinker, and a good, solid guy who's going to make a great husband and father one day!

My younger DS is so full of life he practically crackles! He is a whirlwind of energy, whether it's playing the drums, playing basketball or organizing activities with his large group of friends. He's definately a leader, and has such a quick mind.

Allison is my miracle child....the daughter I never thought I'd have. She is so sweet and loving....has never met a stranger, and she goes out of her way to include everyone. She also adores her mommy, which is just a wonderful feeling!

Thanks for the thread, Binny!

I have the most wonderful daughter...she is kind, smart, funny, and compassionate. Ever since she was a baby, her teachers have remarked at how empathetic and sympathetic she is...she's the first child to make sure another feels good or safe when they appear scared or uncomfortable. When a new person comes into her life, she makes sure they are introduced and become part of the "gang"

She can be shy for the first five minutes you meet her and then she'll just light up a room after that.

She's a good person and I am so proud of her. I can't imagine what I've ever done to be so lucky as I am to have her in my life.

My son is a joy. He has a kind and gentle soul, and is always willing to help anyone. Other kids at school, people in his life, even strangers when he is out with DH or I. He is just the light of my life.

I have re-figured out how to post pics, and this is up on another thread, but if this is the brag thread, so why not? ;)

My oldest is everything I could have wanted her to be an more.
My youngest is an angel that's going to be a lot like her sister.
:)

My son, now age 21, contracted a strange illness when he was ll, endured pain for 3 years. Never complained or got depressed. He loves to learn, and when he was most sick and could barely walk into the school to be tutored, gave it is all. He finally got better after 3 years and is good health now.

He graduated #l in his hs class of 500. He is now in a senior at the U/M and is a wonderful , caring person with many friends.

My dd, now l8, is a warm, kind, giving person. She helped take care of her brother when he was ill, and is now interested in a medical career. She is a freshman at the U/M.

I am blessed.

Herc.

My oldest son will be applying to medical schools next year. He is so bright, caring, sincere and loving.
My second son is conscientious, thoughtful, dependable and bright.
My daughter is sweet (for a 13 year old), loving, full of life and energy.
The best thing about all my kids is that they can make me smile, make me laugh out loud, and melt my heart.

Max is the Best Thing that ever Happened to me - He is so smart, loving, funny, energetic, handsome,compassionate......
He is so much fun to be around & we enjoy alot of the same things. He's either VERY mature for his age, or I'm very immature for mine - maybe it's just a combination of both.....
He is helpful & kind - never gets in trouble - He's only in 9th grade, but is working toward his degree in engineering already (Project Lead The Way) He wants to be an Imagineer for WDW -

I have two sweeties...

My son: deep thinker, analytical, compassionate, kind, very very bright... loves to please, but also asks question. He is very beyond his years... on paper he will be 8 soon, but in reality, he's more like an 11/12 year old.

My daughter: a beautiful, sweet child. She adores her father! She is very very sweet, funny, kind. She is very direct, and will tell you like it is as well.

What can I say about my DS......he is my miracle boy, the light of my life, and I am truly grateful God blessed me with him.

:bounce::wave::bounce:

It's so heartwarming to read these threads and to realize all of our children have special qualities and that we, as parents, can find those qualities and embrace them!!!!:D

My DD, 13, is very bright, taking tests for gifted studies, honor society member, loves to talk and talk and talk and talk, loves to go out, loves basketball and reading, a Daddy's girl, won a bike on Slimetime Live, has many friends, little kids love her, very trustworthy, a GREAT kid with a beautiful smile.

MY DS,8, is very bright, helpful, considerate of others, loves baseball and basketball, a Mommy's boy, a homebody, a magnet to strangers ( people have made comments on his looks and personality since he was a baby ), teacher said he's a doll, last years teacher said he was wonderful, my BABY.

Thanks for letting me brag on my 2 kids, I've been very blessed!!

I am enjoying this thread so much! :D

Patio, how cool that your DD won a bike on Slimetime. My child would love to do that!

My little boy is the light of my life. IMHO, a sweeter, kinder, funnier child has never been born.

Last week I took him for his annual physical and his pediatrician, who first examined him when he was less than 24 hours old, asked how he was doing in school. So I beamed, and said excellent, which is true, all his teachers love him.

The doctor told me that it was no surprise and that he guessed when my son was still a toddler that he would be an excellent student. He could see back then how smart he is.

I wish I could have had another child, but I console myself with the thought that if I only got one, I got one as close to perfection as any child could be. :D

I'll join in...I tend to complain mostly about my kids!

My 6 yo DS is the most compassionate, loving young man. He can
be very sincere and caring. He is taking piano lessons and I'm amazed at how well he is doing.

My 4 yo DS is our comedian. He is a SUPER puzzle-doer, loves his trucks, and is so sweet when he sleeps, sucking his thumb!

Both of my boys just dote on their baby sister!

My long-awaited, long-desired Princess DD...what can I say-she's perfect! :)

Jessa (she doesn't want to go by Jessi anymore) is so smart and the teachers have been telling us that since she was about 1, but now that she's in Kindergarten it's really becoming obvious. She said her first sentence when she was only 14 months old and was telling us her toy needed batteries before she was even two. She is also an excellent big sister and absolutely adores her little brother and shows him off to everyone. She's also the best at giving hugs and cheering people up who need it.
Bobby is so sweet (that's what everyone seems to comment on....that he's such a loving child.) He also seems to be very musical and very mechanically inclined. He likes to try to figure out how things work. While Jessa sits there and works everything out by talking about it at the same time she is thinking, he sits back and figures it out and then tells us or does whatever it was he was trying to do.

My 3 sons never cease to amaze me with their strength of character.

Oldest-Leads by example, uncharacteristically caring for a soon to be 18 year old. Quiet strength.
Middle(16)-Filled with Joy-wakes up in the morning with a smile on his face and a song in his heart. Literally helps old ladies cross the street. Loves to spend time with the older population of our church. Hysterically funny yet compassionate about other people's feelings .
Youngest(15)-Extremely bright. Leader in every sense of the word. Very athletic and outgoing.
All 3 boys stick up for the underdog and have unshakeable faith. Even at their ages, they never fail to kiss me good night and expect me to kiss them goodbye when I leave for work. They express their love for me every day and talk to me about everything. I just went to parent-teacher conferences where every one of my boys teachers commented on how much their classmates look up to these kids. I have been so blessed by these guys! They definately take after their father!!
