What's the maximum number allowed in your child's class? DD's 1st grade class will have 30 (max) and there will be a teacher's aide helping out. On the other hand youngest dd's preschool has a max of 18 with a teacher's aide. Do different states have different rules?

Humm I have no idea if we have a rule or not...I would think so but when John-Cole was in puclic school he usually had between 28-30 children in his class.

Last year which was his first year in Private School he had only 15 kids..

In puclic school there was always a teacher's aide. In private school there is an aide from high school that comes in during his/her study hall hour.

We have the K-3 limit of no more than 20, but in high school, as far as I know, there is no limit. The limit is when there is no more room to fit desks in the classroom.
