Insp by the snake thread, what strange critters have come into your house

Actually wild (Black footed ) ferrets are almost extinct. They used to live out west around pairie dog towns (their food). What you saw may have been an albino mink, or maybe someone's lost pet ferret!
Turned out to be the neighbor's albino ferret that had escaped through the dryer vent. As they lived on a 60 acre horse farm they never bothered to tell us. Dang thing hightailed it across the road and lived under my horse barn until it apparently wanted to come inside one day. :scared1: As I had no idea what it was it scared me to death!!! :lmao:

Bunnies! We had a house that the foundation wasn't capped on and a mama bunny made a nest in the foundation somehow and when the babies started hoping around they fell through a vent in our finished basement. My dh's office was down there and he thought he was going crazy, lol. He kept seeing little things hop past his door, but they would be gone when he went up to look. He finally found one, then 4 more!

My kitties brought in a baby jack rabbit one night and once we came home to find a squirrle running around.
Other than that, just the usual spiders (black widows and Wolf's) flies and the occassional wasp and moth.
