Turned out to be the neighbor's albino ferret that had escaped through the dryer vent. As they lived on a 60 acre horse farm they never bothered to tell us. Dang thing hightailed it across the road and lived under my horse barn until it apparently wanted to come inside one day.Actually wild (Black footed ) ferrets are almost extinct. They used to live out west around pairie dog towns (their food). What you saw may have been an albino mink, or maybe someone's lost pet ferret!
