Has anyone had to use insect repellent anywhere? Should I pack some? Thanks for any info

We are going on our first cruise in a few days! We do go to the beach alot and have had problems with horse flies and the dreaded "no see-ums".
The best product I have found is from Avon. It is the insect repellant with sun block. Smells good and keeps everything off! A word of warning...sensitive skin beware. My family uses it, but I can only use the insect repellant. I am allergic to most sun blocks.
Hope this helps.

I always buy the sun screen with bug repellent in it just to be safe. Avon sells this and I am pretty sure you can buy it in drug stores and WalMart. I am not sure what time of year you are traveling, but during the hot and rainy times the mosquito at WDW are pretty bad. You will need sun screen no matter what time of year you go so why not get the kind with bug repellent and save a little money? Just MHO.

Definitely take the repellent with you if you go to Cozumel....we went 2 years ago and did the Kayak tour and the mosquitos were so bad that one of the girls on our tour had bites all over her by the time we were done.....my DW sells avon and the Skin-So-Soft works very well .... Andy

We honeymooned on St. John in 1992. The mosquitos ate us alive until we found (on the ground) a bottle of "Jungle Juice." It was 100% DEET, worked well, but ate the finish off the banister in our condo and melted the rubber on DH's shoes. Bring bug spray!

See you soon!
