?Hi, Last time around I chose all our food choices around what was most fun - we did 1900 PF,CP,Ohana's WCC, PSB for dinner, and while the dinners were all fun and wonderful - my kids barely ate. This time around I am choosing based on menu variety and quality. I was wondering if you all have any input for me: Also not really planning my cs meals - winging it for those.
After much juggling around of my ADRs I have come up with:
10/2 - cs breakfast at CBR
late lunch at WCC (one that I am holding onto for fun factor)
10/3 our MGM day cs somewhere for breakfast late lunch at Sci Fi, dinner at Pizza Planet or ABC backlot
10/4 Epcot day leaving Epcot for dinner at Concourse Steakhouse
10/5 MK day leaving MK for dinner at Spoodles
10/6 last day - plan on DTD shopping and swimming.
Since I probably will not use my TS points for Sci Fi or WCC, I was thinking of a couple of TS breakfasts, we have 5 nights, but are arriving very late first night - so lots of extra meals. Thought about HDDR, but noone would eat there. Have been trying for LTT just because of MNSSHP, but no luck. Soooo, what do you think of Spoodles and Concourse particularly - and who do you all think has the best (american type ) TS for breakfast?
TIA for your help. It was really an issue last time when my oldest (who is autistic) and my second oldest ( who has sensory issues and very limited diet) had not really had any good meals nearly the whole time we were there. I appreciate you all looking! :Pinkbounc

I'm thinking you should either switch around your nights for Concourse/Spoodles or your days for MK/Epcot. Spoodles is at the Boardwalk which is walking distance from the International Gateway entrance to Epcot and Concourse is at the Contemporary a short walk or monorail ride from MK. Haven't eaten at either so can't help you there.

Concourse was a nice surprise for us. DH and I ate dinner alone there last trip and we were so glad. He had a steak which was cooked perfectly and I had a chicken entree with vegetables which was delicious.

The service was very good and there was just something relaxed about the place, despite it's location in a crazy hotel lobby. I would go again for sure.

Have fun. :sunny:

Yes, definitely switch the Concourse Steakhouse and Spoodles. The Steakhouse for when you are at the Magic Kingdom and Spoodles for Epcot Day.

The only concern with Concourse Steakhouse is that it's right next to Chef Mickey's and the kids might be more interested in what is going over on just on the other side of the wall than in eating their dinner. Lunch might be a better option since Chef Mickey's is closed during that time.
