Hi there neighbor across the lake!! The only one of your iffys that I have experience with is Ohana. First time we went we LOVED it. Quality of food, service, atmosphere - all excellent. The last time which was in '04 we were disappointed. Our expectations were so high after the first time! The service was below average, quantitiy of food still a LOT, but the quality was poor. The meats were dry and bland. And now that the skewered shrimp are gone, we will not be going back. But I am still reading some great reviews, so hopefully we just had a bad night. I hope your experience there is as wonderful as our first was and have a great vacation!!

I haven't eaten at all of the places you've chosen, but those that I have are good. Crystal Palace is great! I've only had breakfast there, but it was by far the best meal we had in WDW last time. I would definitely recommend it. We ate at 'Ohana a few years ago, and were not that impressed. The food was just ok, and I would much rather have eaten at a regular table service restaurant. Now, I've been hearing that they changed the menu for the worse. Granted, I have heard many great reviews on the restaurant as well, so I guess it's hit or miss.

I'm actually starting to get a bit scared about 'Ohana, I have been reading a lot of negative stuff today. aahhh!

We love Crystal Palace and eat here everytime we go to WDW - we've done lunch twice and are trying dinner in August.

We've been to Crystal Palace several times this year. When we ate there in May, DH loved it & said it was the best meal of our entire 9 day trip.

We ate there in January for dinner also...bring a jacket...the place was freezing. :cold: Otherwise, we had a great time. It did take a while for all of the characters to come around that time. They were quicker during our May trip.

HEY I am also a neighbor, from the bayou!! and no one knows food like us folks right?!!? I have been to the crystal palace a few times and we much rather breakfast than lunch or dinner. we will be visiting the world Jan 27-Feb 4, is there any locations we must dine in your opinion?
