hi. I have never been to Innoventions, we just skipped it to do other attractions. but I was listening to the podcast ladies show, and now I am really excited about Innoventions.... so can you tell me more about it? any pictures? thanks

I'm curious also. We've been there twice and both times, never bothered to go in here because I really didn't know much about it and rides were always a higher priority. Wondering if we should make some time in December when we go back...

I walked away from it feeling like I had been suckered into spending precious Disneyland time in a giant, hands on x-box commercial. I won't bother with it again. That being said, it IS air conditioned, so if you need to escape the heat, it is an option for that. Be wary, though, that it is also packed with people waiting to meet capt America and Thor.

A complete waste of time and should be removed and replaced with a better attraction in my opinion. Only reason to go there is to get out of the weather.

I'd you have marvel fans you may find it interesting. They have added an Iron Man exhibit, Thor meet and greet and a Captain America meet and greet. The rest, eh. Exhibits, demos, etc. it he best thing about it though is that it's air conditioned, so for those hot summer days...

I was surprised at how much they liked it on the Podcast. We went in late June with my 12 and 9 year old. There wasn't anything in there that I found interesting for more than a minute or two. By myself, I would have been in and out in 10 minutes. My nieces wanted to spend time playing the video games. Of course, they were busy and they had to wait their turn.

Normally, I wouldn't have minded letting them play for a half-hour or so, but not this time. I was really tired and there was NO place to sit. I think the idea is they want you to keep moving. I told them, "We did not come all the way to California for you to play video games! We are leaving to do more rides." I then laughed at myself because I sounded exactly like my Mother 30 years ago!

We went in to see Thor and that was it. We felt it was totally worth it. There is a fun little pre-meet and greet "show" that was cool and Thor was a very hot young guy with a great accent flirting with the ladies. It was a hoot. The lady who came out right after us could NOT stop smiling. If your kids like Thor or Captain America the meet and greet is fun, but other than that I didn't find much of interest in Innoventions. I am in the camp that thinks it should be torn down.

I go to disneyland very, very frequently so sometimes I actually like to seek out things off the beaten path......innovations is one of those things. They have a Peter Pan room where a cast member tells a story and the room "responds" . It's the only thing worth the time, as far as I'm concerned. I stop in there to cool off and hear a story, that's about it.

How does innoventions compare to that at EPCOT? Similar type things or focused on meeting the marvel characters- as that is all I can seem to find info on, and we're not interested in meeting them.

My husband and I went in it on our last trip and actually had a hard time finding out where the exit was. We ended up asking. I thought it was way to many steps for very little of interest to see. I did think the Iron Man display was cool (took two minutes to look at) but unless you stand in the long lines there is no way to even glimpse Thor or Iron Man. All the electronic stuff? I would imagine the majority of people have the same technology in there homes now.

That lady might have been me - Thor was adorable! ;)

We went Sunday to see Thor and Capt America. Thor was awesome, cute, very in character, very chatty. Cap' was good, cute too but not as personable. We didn't have any kids in the group so that might be why, he seemed to be very talkative with the little ones in front of us. Overall, very cool to do once. We'd seen the Iron Man stuff and all the home stuff before that that's all we did this time.

That was me, too! I walked the lower perimeter and saw tons of doors but none said exit and I thought I was going to be trapped in Innoventions forever. :lmao:

What time has it been opening recently?
REALLY want to see Thor and Captain America in two weeks :)

Thor and Captain America are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. We didn't make it over in time to see Captain America but Thor was great. The line looked long but we were in within about 15 minutes and it was totally worth it.

Thanks much! Off to go make our Minnie Breakfast earlier then...
Thor is definitely a hottie mchotterson. Totes :)

Innovations is one of my dh's and kid's favorite places to be. (After Star Tours, of course). I don't get it...but its a good place for me to rest while they explore.
