Since 2020 I've noticed a few pretty amazing innovations showing that human grit I love to see.

Yesterday, I learned that a storage facility was purchased and turned into a collection of kiosks for small businesses and the central paved parking area was redone and converted into courtyard for outdoor dining, it's called Bow Market and is a fab idea. So this is like a real life etsy or flea market but all outdoor, amazing.

A while back I discovered a beer distributor in PA set up shop in an old car wash for drive through beer where they just slide it into your trunk and off you go, genius, they can move a LOT with very little effort.

Another PA pizzaria set up in a bank to use the banks machines for pickup of personal pies and such with bigger boxes using runners.

Wondering what other people have seen, humans can be so creative :)

Those beer distributors have been around in PA since back when I was a kid (and probably earlier than that) - they're nothing new in PA. It's the primary way most people buy their beer in the state.

Is it really? To be honest, not the biggest fan so it never stood out other than what I saw. This isn't a thing I've seen in any other states, although it might exist.

Until just a few years ago, you couldn't even buy beer at a convenience store (and even now, a 12 pack is the most you can buy).
LOL, I remember people coming to see me and just wanting a beer for pizza then getting stuck with a case because I had no idea which restaurant to send them to, and then the BYO wine was an offbeat thing to explain at restaurants. The biggest complaints were about visiting Hershey, stopping in Amish areas to visit and then discovering entire towns were dry.

PA is a very curious state, it's very much an Old West fend for yourself sort of place. The thought struck me as I was waiting at a light with bars down and chimes for a train in Massachusetts because back in PA there is often nothing to indicate you are even near tracks. Like, in the woods it's up to you to figure that sort of stuff out, do or die is on a whole other level in PA, no joke.
