Is innovations changing? I see it's closed right now with an open date. I saw somewhere it was permanently closed. Are they changing it to something else.

It was nice to go in when my feet needed a rest but my kids did not!

From what I'm hearing, the first floor will be a Star Wars expo-style room and the 2nd floor will be a Marvel expo-style room. Should be pretty cool. At least, a lot cooler than it was.

That sounds cool and better then it was in the past. We only went on on hot days or if my feet needed a break but the kids do not want to sit.

I'm kind of leery of the date. Blue Sky Cellar was given a placeholder date to reopen when it's pretty clear it's not really going to reopen on that date and is being used for the Visa meet n greets.

I'll never trust Disney's re-open dates for an attraction since the BTMRR fiasco. Whoa Nellie was that one ever a mess....

So if Innovations is open for our trip on Oct great.
If not it won't be the first or last time re-opening dates not opening have disappointed us.
The last minute add-on's to the refurbishment schedule can be disappointing for a trip too.

Part of the reason I don't trust it is that there hasn't been any word from Disney on what, if anything is going on in there. If they said they were eventually going to do XYZ with it and then the October date showed up, maybe. But it's basically exactly like Blue Sky, it closed without any announced plans and it got the exact same placeholder date to reopen. It just seems too good to be true until they say something official.

What a shame. Unless it soft opens, I will just miss this as I am leaving on October 1st. Still, I always need an excuse to go back.
