My sister and I are trying to decide what all to cram in (and what we must drop) froma a way-too short trip to WDW. One attaction has us puzzing -

Can anybody give us a listing of what is currently avaialable in Innovations West and Innovations East?

Thanks!

It's difficult to know exactly whats in Innovations because it's always changing but in general....

The last time I was there in October these items were there:

There are some interactive video games from Disney. They get four kids at a time to play.

Sony Aibo's in a playpen. (Electronic Cat/Dog things)

An exihibit for Mission:Space.

Lastest Audio/Video equipment demonstration.

Home Automation Tour.

Xerox Electronic paper demonstation.

plus many other things to see and do.

I love innovations, but it really requires some time to truely enjoy it. I go to Disney at least once a year, so I would skip rides to spend time there, but you must decide what is important to you.

I am also a computer program, and a gadget fan, so Innovations really calls to me. ;)

Hope this helps!

Personally I don't like Innoventions like I did several years ago. It just doesn't hold my interest. It used to be better. I spent many hours in I. but now basically do a walk through.

There are many changes underway at Innoventions currently (mainly on the East side)
Innoventions West:
~IBM Thinkamajig (interactive race game) also cutting edge pc demos and E-mail postcards.
~Lutron's Ultimate Home Theatre Experience
~Beautiful Science (bioengineering, bugs, agriculture)
~Video Games (all Disney games now, no more Sega. There are demo stations for several titles, including Ultimate Ride and Kingdom Hearts).
~Tom Morrow 2.0's Playground (now occupying the space formerly held by Xerox and Radiology exhibits) Presenting Aibo, Mickey's Dance Revolution, Jungle Book dance game, and two new interactive games.
~a new experience for guests with the WDW Dreammaker package (not sure what it is, but the "Broadband Connection" signs are still up... looks a little sloppy)
There are also small displays for a number of new technologies, including the Cochlear implant.
Innoventions East:
~Segway Human Transporter
~Forests of our Future (make paper, play a game of "Total Tree-via")
~Disney Internet Zone (Blast games, Toontown race game, Video D-mail.)
~Communication Dream Forum (very lame movie, new product demos-which are fairly interesting) Presented by Motorola
~House of the Future, presented by Whirlpool (walking tour with new home innovations) The final stop is the backyard, with a very cool demo of a new i*bot wheelchair developed by the inventor of the Segway.
Mission:Space Preview Center presented by HP (maze game, space trivia, interactive display, your weight on the moon, and M:S video E-mail)
Discover the Stories behind the Magic kiosks (100 Years of Magic Trivia)
