Does anyone know of a business that will give a school some money in exchange for used ink cartridges? (Just a way to earn a dime for a school I guess.) If not, just a place to recycle them? Thanks!

Staples. They used to give a $3. coupon off your next order for each ink cartridge you bring in. I'm not sure if they still do this.

My local post office has a little display with tyvek envelopes. You can simply put your ink cartridge in the envelope, drop it in the mailbox and send the cartridge in to that company for recycling (no cash).

google cc cash. i believe that's who we use now for our school. every little bit helps!!

We turn ours into the schools front office. They turn them in someplace to get the schools credit.

Staples gives you $2 per cartridge, but you don't get cash. You get Staples Rewards, which you have to spend at Staples.

I collect used catridges and toner bottles from work, turn them in at Staples, spend the Staples Rewards on stuff I need at Staples, and donate an equal dollar amount to a local school.

There are several companies that will give your school cash for your used printer cartridges, but it might be a lot less. Maybe twenty-five cents for an inkjet cartridge. Some cartridges are worth more than others.

One of them was Cartridges for Kids. I can't remember the names of the other ones.

Try calling the schools in your area. You might find that elementary schools are more active in doing this than middle schools or high schools.
