Information on windermere?

I am looking for details on this community. We are looking for a vacation home and have also looked into Celebration. I can't find as much information on the web and wondered if anyone here could help me? In particular, is this a planned community? Is there a central "market" area for shopping, eating, etc. Do property taxes run about the same as other communities in the area? Also, are there better areas to be in within the community? We are definately visiting Celebration, but we want to look at other possibilities. I would greatly appreciate any information! Thanks!

Windemere is a town in Florida, not a planned community by any means. It runs the gamut from smaller bungalow style homes on dirt roads to sprawling multi-million dollar mansions in one of the planned communities in Windemere, Isleworth.

There's a small downtown area, but it's not a mecca of shopping and dining.
