Not sure if this is the place to post this, but I'll give it a shot. I just bought an index card organizer and a bunch of colorful index cards and stickers to make a fun organizer for all our info for our Disney/Universal honeymoon trip in July. :cheer2: I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for how to organize it? I have 13 pockets to put the cards in, and was thinking of doing one for our ADR's, one for our confirmation #'s etc. but would love suggestions of how others have organized their information in the past. Thanks in advance for any tips! :teeth:

I haven't done anything like this (yet), but I am thinking about it for next year's trip. I think I'd do it by day rather than by category. So, I'd have a card with what we are doing that day and on it I'd have the ADRs or confirmation numbers for just that day. Then you could grab the card for just that day and take it with you instead of carrying the entire organizer around the parks.

I agree with doing it by day instead of by category. I have typed out a card for each day of our trip and I put everything in order by time of day. For example, the first day's card has our flight times and numbers, car rental confirmation number, hotel info., etc. The next day (at Epcot) has the park opening time, ADR# for dinner, show times and anything else we want to do. It's all in order by time of day so I can easily see what comes next. For MK days, I put in parade times. I am laminating the cards and will be tossing one in my bag each day. At the top of the card I am leaving about 1/2 inch unlaminated so I can write in the section number where we parked.

Yes, that probably all sounds too organized but that's my thing! :)

I also organize by day.

I made a "pocket card" (a laminated card the size of a credit card) for each day, plus a separate one with phone numbers (town car service, hotel number, cell phone #s, etc.). I created them in MS Word.

If you use a fairly small type size (about 9 point), you can squeeze quite a bit of information onto a card (front and back). I loved being able to tuck a card into my wallet for that day, knowing I had all of the info I needed in a compact size. Plus, since it was laminated, it was pretty "sturdy" and didn't get bent to wrinkled.
