How do I find reputable/dependable town car/limo companies?
Thanks!

We've used Tiffany Towncar and FL Tours on two different trips to WDW. They were both great. I would recommend either one. I will be using FL Tours again for our cruise coming up to take us to the Radission from MCO (cheaper than Disney Transportation for a family of 4). I hope this helps.

Thanks! I've read good reports about both. Any idea on where I can find their websites/phone #s?

We're renting a car so we can have freedom on Friday but I'd like to take a town car back to MCO after the cruise.

I have used Tiffany on 2 trips, once they were WONDERFUL!!! I can't say that enough, the driver was incredibally nice and waited for us at the airport the 2 hours our flight was delayed. (we arrived finally at 1:00am. The second driver was not so nice. He refused to stop smoking in the car which nearly put me into anaphalatic shock. I held my breath as much as I could the entire way to the airport. When we made reservations with them again this year we speciffically asked for NON-SMOKING so we'll see what happens. Otherwise the cars are very nice and comfortable and affordable as well concidering the cost of other modes of transportation. Obviously we are using them again and I would still recomend them to others, just be sure to make any requests when you book.

We have used Florida Town Car Service
http://www.floridatowncar.com/ the last 3 years and have had nothing but pleasant experiences and highly recommend them.

It is $150.00 + tip round trip from MCO to DCL port and back.

This year my DS wanted to ride the buses so we are going to experience that but if we weren't we would be using Flrida Town Car.

We use Happy Limo for all our Disney cruises. We just booked them again for the latest one Thanksgiving weekend. They have always been prompt, courteous, and reliable. We usually use a towncar, but we did a limo last trip because we were travelling with another family, and it was so luxurious! A towncar is so nice because you can choose your pickup time and relax on the trip. Happy has a coupon rate to Port Canaveral.

We've used Tiffany Towncar Service many times, they've always been on time to pick us up at the airport and the hotel, even when we had a delayed flight, they were there for us when we finally landed.

http://www.tiffanytowncar.com Yo...ge, it was cheerfully accepted by our driver.

We used Happy Limo once. The driver was at the wrong place at the airport. It took us about 30 minutes to locate him. He then did not know how to get to the port. He asked us for directions! Thankfully, this was our second Disney cruise so we generally knew the way. On the return trip, the limo was about 45 minutes late. When we called Happy Limo, we got only the automated message. When the driver finally showed up, he fessed up that he was late because a police officer ticketed him for speeding (yikes!). He also did not have any of the car seats that we had confirmed. In the end, Happy Limo incorrectly charged us twice for the trip, but when I called them, they took care of it.

Other than that, our experience with Happy Limo was fine :)
I will say, however, that the cars were very clean and the drivers were very nice. I guess the company had two bad days because most of the reports on this board are very positive about them. Therefore, I guess I would cautiously recommend them.

For our upcoming trip, however, we are trying a different company. I contacted Tiffany based on the feedback from this board. Unfortunately, I kept getting different information from different agents each time I called, primarily in regard to car and booster seats. I was also told by one agent that the internet coupon did not apply for the MCO to Port trip, even though it seems like it should. Therefore, I have booked a reservation with FL Tours. They are a bit more expensive, but they seem like they have their act together. Their web site reservation form at least has an option to add car/booster seats so, hopefully, the driver will arrive with them.

The bottom line, however, is to mentally prepare yourself for everything when you're traveling and to not let anything ruin your trip. Have a great time!

Minnesota - you should have exited the town car immediately and have the "gentleman" radio for a different car and driver. Also, I hope you didn't tip him...

We used Happy Limo in September and again a week ago. We had excellant service, clean cars & friendly drivers. We will definately use them again.

We used Happy Limo last October and they were great. We boked a town car both ways. When we got to the airport we called the number and they gave us directions on how to get to the car. Somehow we got lost, mabye it was 'cause we had a red eye ;), but we ended up in the stairs in the parking garage and then saw all the cars and limos. Much to our surprise their was a limo in our space. It was great!! Didn't charge us any extra for it. Both times the drivers were great and we used the grocery stop. If the rate is good I would say go for it.

Hope this helps!

BTW-Barb thanks for the coupon on your site. :D

Thanks everyone! That should get me started. I know it has been asked before on other threads, but what is the earliest time to have a town car pick you up at the port for return to the airport. We're not going to be in a rush, but if i know the earliest and I know the time we "should" be at the airport, I can guage the best time to tell them to pick us up.

When are you coming in on Friday? We're coming in around noon or so (I have to dbl. check!!). We've used Tiffany for 2 past trips to WDW, great experience. We are either going with Tiffany, or Happy (based on Barb's website and feedback)...

Kevin,
We're on USAir arriving at 11:44 in Orlando. Maybe we're on the same flight! We're renting a car at MCO. I'm trying to set up the town car for our return.

Let me know which airline you're coming in on....maybe we can hook up on our layover! We'll be the family bouncing with excitement!!!

We have used Florida Town Car and Happy Limo a few times and I would highly recommend them! We have tried to use Tiffany Town car on 2 occasions but received such miserable customer service that we never wound up keeping the reservations.

It is really amazing to me how there are good and bad experiences with each and every car company. I guess that's what life is all about. Try to find the right one and hope for the best.

Thanks everyone for your input!

We went against the board's recommendations and used "Sunrise Transportation". MCO to Port/Port to Universal/Universal to MCO all booked for a package price that was a little lower than anyone else's. Our driver was a "hoot" and WOULD NOT smoke even tho we told him we didn't mind!!! It simply was NOT allowed. We didn't have to call any phone #s, as our driver was waiting for us with a name sign at the airport and escorted us to baggage claim and then to a waiting area while he went and got the car!! We had excellent service and would DEFINATELY use them again.
