Thanks somuch for the info on the Swan, it's just what I needed to know.
We'll be staying at the Club level. My previous concierge experience has been 2 years in a row at the Poly. Can you tell me whose is better?
I'm a bit disappointed that they charge for the alcohol as the Poly did not but I realize this hotel is not disney owned.
Of course this Westin bed sounds better than my own?
We just need a change this year and I've always admired these hotels. I initially wanted to stay at the Dolphin until I heard they don't have double queen beds.
Is this walkway to Epcot any good?
How is the busing transportation?
Any more info you can give would be really appreciated.
Thanks!

Club level is NOTHING like the Disney concierge. If you think you are getting the same level of service you will wind up being very disappointed. It is only open a few hours in the morning and evening and to my mind the selection of food/beverages were disappointing. (Although others loved it) They do not make PS and other things there. From what I have heard Disney's concierge is head and shoulders above the Swan club and I would not recommend you pay for it.

They do have a concierge for the whole hotel in the lobby who MAY help you with PS and other services. (They always seem to be away from their desk when I come by)

The beds are wonderful!!!

It is an easy walk to Epcot and you can take the boat to both there and MGM.

The times of the concierge food service is the same as the Polys from what I've read here on the boards.
The real reason I'm staying at the Swan is I got a great Triple A rate.
According to my travel agent I do get PS planning with staff members.
The only thing that spoiled me is the monorail service but I guess we can't have everything all the time.

My family and I recently (in Nov.) stayed on the club level at the Swan. It was great for food.

Yes, they do offically charge for alchol (several times it was given to us for free - because we were nice guests).

The food was great for us. The breakfast: fresh sliced melon, berries and such, danish, croissants (my favorite) even chocolate ones, several kinds of cereal, bread for toast, and yogurts. Coffee (with flavored syrups), tea and juices.

Evenings: cheese plate, a hot snack, fruit again, and veggies and dip and cookies.

They were always willing to hold food for us-we came after the 'hot food' time. Always willing to pull out something for my three year old to eat. Maria really took care of us.

Always offering us bottles of water, milk for my daughter...take anything we wanted to the room.

Yes, they can make PS from there.

Oh, yeah. The beds were the best.

We felt the overall feel was very hotel like and that was the thing we disliked the most. But the concergie folks were super-duper. And we always got our days started with a good breakfast.

We really liked the location as well....we walked over to Epcot every night and strolled around the world. Then we would go by the Boardwalk Bakery and get an individual Mickey Cake for 2.79 and yummy all the way back to our hotel.

Hope this helps. I don't know what Disney levels are like but this one was more than fine for us...we were very pleased.

Karen
