Info on Holiday Quest

Can anyone tell me how long they did the holiday quest last year? We won't be in the parks until January 28. Any chance of it being available? My guess, which I think is the fair thing for regulars, is that they will switch Gold to WDW and white to DLR. Just my thought though. And yes decorations are definitely up by Thanksgiving.

No info about the quest but your vacation starts on my birthday! I expect presents!

At first glance I thought you lived in FL and expected real presents since I was going to be there. Thought.. no problem, Green Bay Packer things should be at GREAT clearance prices this year! Then Dreams says I have to take you WITH me, so i looked where you're from (if indeed that is a true profile. Well I will say I have a mighty big suit case if you are a small person. I cannot guarantee the care of the bagage handlers but can put a fragile sign duct taped to the outside of the suitcase. You may do well just to get to Disney on your own Q, since it's a long walk to WI to get in the suitcase.
I hope you don't mind sharing a 5 BR house with 10 people.

I guess I won't be going. My profile is true but I won't fit into anything smaller than a steamer trunk. I'm sure you'll find a way to have a great time without me.

We will be there the first week of December so I will be (or am) bummed out if the quest does not come out until the second week.

I'll be going to the MVMCP tomorrow night - I was hoping that the holiday quest would coincide with the first night of the party, but I have a sneaking suspicion I may be out of luck! I will ask at VMK central and tell everyone what they say though...

if their releasing the holiday sets from last year, im keeping my DLR set for two reasons:
1 cheshirecatpinman gifted me the blue wreath
2: i earned the rest of quest myself

and im going to wdw for christmas im saving them.

Well, I am back from the Magic Kingdom - and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party was lots of fun! I stopped by VMK Central (and yes, they did give me a hard time about redeeming any quests on my party ticket - claiming that they could not be scanned and guests were coming back over and over again, but after some pleading and puppy dog eyes, they did do it) - and they told me that the Holiday Quest was not available yet, and they did not have any info on when it would be. So, like I said, not really much of an update, but there we are...

If the tickets can't be scanned how did you get in the park? They need a BETTER excuse if they are going to lie to us. Because they told me that the party tickets were not "real tickets" and could not be used. I head another Cast Member tell someone else that is was because VMK was closed during the parties? All very flimsy excuses.

Why is this such a big deal? The party tickets are expensive
(but well worth it IMHO) and if you get a set of extra cards for VIRTUAL items, big deal. It is not like the are handing out real gold from their very own pockets!

Hi All,

Wanted to say that we bought our MVMCP tickets way back in July. I was down at WDW for a day and stoped by VMK central. I had with me the 10 day park hopper tickets, tickets that had water parks left on them and the Christmas party tickets. They all worked perfectly no questions asked. We are arriving on Sunday and since it has been 90 days we plan on redeeming all the tickets again. The party is towards the end of our trip so I will do the Christmas party tickets several days before we use the tickets. Seems to me that they need a set policy on what they do so that some people are not given a hard time about things. Gee you would think they were giving gold bars or something.
