I am thinking about upgrading to a lodge tower room for our upcoming trip in June. Has anyone stayed in one of these rooms before? Is it worth the extra $? Also, what type of views can you get with a lodge tower room? Do they have balconies? Our group consists of myself, DH, and two 14-year old boys. I thought the extra room might be needed for those two big boys. Thanks!!!

The only floor that doesn't have a balcony with the Lodge tower rooms is the 5th floor.

Tower as you mean in the main building. Yes i stayed in the main building twice. Once in a one big room and april of 2001 in the top floor of Grand Floridain..Very cool.. it had two balconies and two rooms. It was nice and cozy!

The Lodge tower rooms are in the outer buildings and not in the main building. They have extra room as they have a sitting room with an extra tv.
