We are planning a trip to DL in the fall :yay: -- probably October or November. If we end up going in October, I would love to go to the Mickey's Halloween Treat (is that what it is called??). I remember a post a while back, but I don't know any info on the cost of tickets, how early in advance to buy them, etc. If anyone has any info -- I would love it if you'd share!!
TIA ~~

I went last year and it was fun.(Funner if I would have left half my group at home):sad2:

I would start looking this summer. As soon as you see them on sale, BUY THEM! They will go very fast.

It was a very nice trip in the fall.
I loved the Halloween Decor.

Happy hunting!

We bought ours at the end of summer when they were available to people with AP's before the general public! With an AP, there were $19 per person for 3 and up. Hopefully in a month or two they will publish some dates!

I am wondering also. We are planning on going as well this year. Do they publish dates before the tickets go on sale? And do they tell you when AP's can buy? How do you know or do I have to go to the Disney website?

We def want to go but since I don't know exact dates yet I don't know when to plan it. And we DO have AP's so I obviously want to buy when those are available.

Last year the tickets became available for AP holders in April and were on sale for the general public in August. There were still tickets for every night when the general sale opened up. Two years ago many of the nights sold out during the AP pre-sale.

I hope they have it again, we had a great time each time we've attended.

The last 2 years, an email was sent to as (as AP holders) telling us when they would go on sale, and a few reminder emails, so don't worry, they'll let you know when they go on sale. When the general public sales began, I believe it was in the Insider email as well as a seperate email.
The opening night sells out first, and the friday nights seemed to go next.

Last year my hubby had duty on opening night, which is when we had our tickets for, so I ebay-ed them, but by then the only other night avalible was one of the extra Thursday nights that opened up once the other nights sold out.

If you are here then, you really outta go. Its alot of fun!

Thanks for the info. We are specifically planning on going no matter what just for that. We have AP's so we go a few more times a year for other things as well.

I NEVER got e-mails about my AP and I am a deluxe holder as well as my entire family (7 people). I haven't even got my mailer yet.

I just don't want to somehow NOT hear about it and miss out on a prime day. We don't have any specific time available other than a weekend in October. So hopefully it all works out. I went to Mickeys Not So Scary HP in WDW in 05 and had fun so am anxious to try this

My brother and SIL just bought AP's (their family is going with us to DL). The only problem is, I guess, if they pre-buy the halloween tickets for the AP holders -- that night will most likely sell out before we can buy ours. Does anyone know if AP holders can buy the Mickey's Halloween Treat tickets for people who don't have the AP's???
sorry for so many questions!

The two years they have done the event, the limit was 8 tickets, per AP, per night.

Last year it started on the 13th of October, I would imagine it will be around the same time this year. I was so bummed because we left on the 11th so we just missed it.

The tickets are not tied to any one person. You are limited to 8 tickets for as many nights as you want. Unfortunately that make for a lot of tickets being sold on ebay. Incidently I did sell some on ebay, but that was because I ended up with tickets for a weekend that I couldn't make a trip down.

I decided I am not going to go this year, I have been the last 2 years and unless they improve it, it is not worth the money. I hate having to stand in a huge line to get princess pictures, which DD always wants to do.
I really enjoyed the MNNSHP at WDW, the parade was great and there was much more to do, storytellers, magicians, face painting, etc.. it was more expensive, but a better value.

Yeah I guess I am prepared for it not to be as good as DW but I just want to go once to see what I think. We live in CA and it is a chance to go regardless. We also have AP's so again it makes it easy. Plus I really enjoyed how DW decorated and am looking forward to seeing Disneyland with all the decs. I have to say I much more enjoy going to the parks when there are holiday decs! We will go this year and if it stinks we probably won't do it again but I figured I should go at least once. :)
