Well now....
1st off I'd like to say I think it's wonderful to pick up info, opinons, rumors and ether on things dreamt last nite!

Hey.... we're all just a few keystrokes away from the second star to the right as we day dream and share our thoughts here?! .... eh?
SO - with that aside - I actually never realized there was a DIsney sea park at Tokyo... wow! And as for considerations about sailing the Thames on
DCL...

what could be more mystical? Maybe they could play Peter pan on the outdoor screen while moored near big ben? How's that for a vision? Or - as for HK Disney ... odd conduct aside with trash and potty routines...

I still think it would be a rich experience with the diversity, rich historical opportunities and simple rarity of circumstance in being there in the region. They obviously should have a Mulan routine mixed into the routine.
Heck... I'm just a little somber in thinking our little ones will have likely grown beyond that magical young age where everything "Disney" is an all powerful exercise of fantasy turned into tangible reality! With that thought in mind the Mouse has my vacation dollar - up to a point just shy of my "value" threshold!
Anyways.... I think it's nice (and predictible) that DCL will launch a 3rd ship eventually. It seems so obvious since they seem to do so well with 2 ships and a limited routine of port routes. AND... of course having the new ship embark on new routes in the Carib AND switching off trans canal to hit California is such a natural tactic.
I just am slightly somber about sailing a Mexican route from LA. We live in LA and have never taken a Mexican Riviera cruise before (except we are scheduled for our 1st for Valentines day 2006). Oh yeah, we've done the little 3 and 4 day deals to Ensenada - but I think it offers limited appeal as it is not very exotic being a Southern Californian native of 42 years. Maybe I'll feel differently after next Februarys' cruise.
I think for my travel dollar I would prefer to TRAVEL some distance and see places, hear sounds, and generally enliven the senses with new places not wlaked through before by my spouse and I. AND if it can be done with DCL then for the moment I am certain it would be our preferred family destination carrier without question.
With Eisners' departure this probably suspended a lot of strategic planning for Disney. So with the new guy at the helm maybe we'll get some new ships and tolerable pricing on DCL sailings before our grandkids (or great grandkids) come alone!
