The great and powerful algorithm started putting candy making videos in my YouTube feed a few months back. It must have connected my posts on here about cotton candy being the greatest food known to man.
The videos eventually focused on image candy or cut rock candy. Small hard candy with pictures or words in side.
To me the videos are fascinating to watch as they start with boiling sugary goo, make various amounts different colors, combine it all together, and end up with a dime sized piece of candy with a picture of a strawberry inside.
With my daughters wedding coming up I thought this was a perfect time to get my own custom image candy made.
They turned out great! We have packaged them up into 2 oz or so portions and will give them out as wedding favors.
The only thing missing is the candy company recording the making of the custom candy and sending the video as part of the purchase.
