Yikes! I’m in Chicago area

heating. Same usage as last year this time. Shot way up

was at Costco some food shelves ( fridge section)
Bare or getting there

mine restaurant (know owner) just raised prices and said another one coming

I have not observed unusual shortages in Los ANgeles other than the normal Sunday evening need to restock. Gas has been stable here for months,

I have had the same experience in the DC/VA area. Gas prices have been VERY stable for months. Gas at regular stations has been hovering around $3.25 per gallon while at Costco we've had $2.85 a gallon for quite some time.

The shortages seemed to calm down once the holidays finished up and the bigger winter storm we had got cleaned up. I do find that some grocery stores are struggling while others are not. Giant Food is abysmal in my area--not sure what their distribution chain weakness is and Harris Teeter seems to struggle with consistent stocking of dairy products. Wegman's, Safeway, and Food Lion are all very normal looking.

Gas prices have been stable or even going down here in CA. Our gas & electric bill went way up (as did everybody we know), but the timing seems more like PG&E trying to get us to pay for the lawsuit against them.

We haven’t had a problem with stocked shelves - at least with the stuff we buy.

Wow, love the "high" gas prices you folks have, LOL. Costco today is $4.09 a gallon, And that is down. No real shortages, although I had to shop around for whole chocolate milk two weeks ago. Plenty of non-fat, and 1% Chocolate milk, just no whole chocolate milk.
I am in an area with a municipally owned electric provider so our rates are low. Been cold and rainy so not much if any production from my solar panels. My electric bill went from $146 in November to $190 in December. My house is all electric, but I am seeing some folks who heat with natural gas posting on NextDoor that their bills are running $300-$400 just for the natural gas.
