Inflatable waterslides?

We're considering buying one of these for our very active toddler. She would love it! I'm wondering which ones hold up the best and where I can find the best prices. I'm thinking of something like this:

We purchased a Banzai Water slide last year for my son. The cost was around $400. The slide lasted one season and then the sides split. If you can handle the fact that it may only last one season then I would say purchase one. If not, then I wouldn't. We enjoyed it while it lasted, but $400 and to only last one summer was a little tough to take. It was a double lane slide. I think the slide actually dry rotted from leaving it out during the summer, but taking one in and out is a pain.

We've had ours for a couple of years now and the kids LOVE it!! It will last, as long as you take care of it.

We had a Banzai water slide also. It had a few holes after the first season, but we were able to patch them and get another season out of it. Adults or bigger kids need to be careful on these slides...a few people were too heavy and got hurt - not seriously, but still. Ouch. Ours had a LOT of use so after two summers, it had it. They don't make the Banzai that goes into a pool anymore. It was great fun while it lasted!

We just bought one about a month ago.

We also purchased it from BJ's but it is the dual slide & one slide goes in to a pool.

My kids used it once so far with begging as it was a chilly 70 out.

They had fun between shivering.

That one is nice! I looked at it too before deciding that DD might be a little overwhelmed by it (she's 2.5). Did your BJ's have these in stock or did you have to order online? I may swing by BJ's this weekend if they are likely to have the slides in stock in the stores.

We've had a Banzai Blast for two years now and it has definitely been worth the $$. We live in SoCal where you might have waterslide weather any day of the year, so it's seen a lot of use in those two years. My kids love it.

We've been tempted to buy one but we hate freezing water and since the water comes from the hose it will be freezing cold. We prefer a pool. This year I am buying a quick set pool. In the past I have bought the biggest blow up pool I could find and we had a ball.

we bought the Banzai Water slide a few years back when they first came out. It was like $299. The kids loved it dont get me wrong but it only lasted one year.. The bladder on the inside rotted out.. we live in south fla and did get alot of use of it. Kept it dry and stored on the patio but for us it wasnt worth it for one year.. We have been under water restrictions also for over a year and that gives me more incentive not to spend the money on yet another one.. It killed the grass too..

We got the Banzai 2 years ago and it still is perfect. THe kids love it. We got it at Walmart on sale for around $200, well worth it!

We have a quick set pool too and it's AWESOME!! We actually got a bigger one for this summer than we had last summer

We're fortunate in that the water from the hose is never cold here in FL, LOL! We have the opposite problem...warm water in the hose, warm water in the water bubblers, etc.

I also bought one last year. It only lasted for the summer as it ripped at the seams. This thing is way to big and bulky to move it back and forth from the box each time. My kids LOVED it,as well as all the neighborhood kids, but I won't buy it again as it didn't last long.

My dh picked it up in New Hampshire in April when he was there just because. But our BJ's in CT had it in stock a few weeks ago.

We also have a Banzai water slide that we bought for dd's 3rd birthday. It's still in pretty good shape 3 years later......although DH leaves it outside(rolled up on the patio) and there is a little bit of mildew on it now. It's the smaller one and we bought it at Walmart...

yeah forgot about the mildew... that was another issue..
anyhow the kids have the community pool that they use more than anything and it doesnt kill the grass or raise my water bill..

We bought a Banzai last summer for our kids' bday party. Figured that even if it lasted just last season, we'd get our money out of it instead of renting something for just the party. Hopefully it will survive...the kids keep asking to get it out this year!! So if you look at it as that...entertainment for one season (or one party!) anything past that is a bonus.

BTW, the party was a BLAST!! But my last outdoor party in July....too hot if you aren't on the Banzai!!!

Well, we went for it and bought the slide with the pool at the bottom from BJ's. DH had been looking at more $$ ones, but I am convinced that this will be a one season item and that I didn't really want to pay more than $200 for it. We're going to put it up for DD after she wakes up from her nap. I can't wait to see her reaction

We got this one for our 5yo and 2yo and the love it. It can be used with or without water, has a seperate bouncing area, and 2 slides. A local dealer had it. It was on Costco's site, but not anymore.

I did a lot of research to find this and am very happy with it.
