Inferno Barge is Back!!

A news item on another site (link blocked) says the inferno barge has returned to Illuminations as of Feb 2! It was damaged in an explosion last Sept (http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=916500).

Way kewl!!!! I had heard last month it was suppose to come back but I thought the CM I spoke with said later in the year so this is excellent news!!! I hope we hear back from those who are able to see it in person this week/weekend so we can hear how fantastic it is!!!

AWESOME NEWS!!!!!! We really missed the barge in November. My dad is going with us on our June trip and he will get to see Illuminations in all its glory!! WOO HOO!

I was just there 1/28 - 1/31 and it wasn't there. Great to hear, my husband loves Illuminations and was very upset it was missing. He also thinks the whole show is shorter, anyone comment?

Yeah - We are staying at The Beach Club on Friday night and plan on seeing Illuminations, we rarely stay at EPCOT late enough to see the fireworks, so this will be a treat since we are "staying next door"!

The whole show is timed to a prerecorded soundtrack, so it could not be significantly shortened unless the soundtrack were edited, which seems unlikely. I would notice if it were; I will be there mid-March.

WOW! That means my first time seeing Illuminations was the first night it was back! Saw it on the 2nd.

I love feeling that heat blast. I've missed that and that "gasp" you hear from the crowd as they see the flames and as the heat makes it's way to them across the lagoon.
