Infants and strollers

Does anyone know if you can rent strollers at each of the theme parks, and if so, how good are they?

Yes, you can rent strollers.
Check out the allearsnet website - I found even found pictures of the strollers you can rent!

However, I also have an infant and was warned that I might want to bring my own stroller because you can only rent the strollers IN the park. Meaning, you are carrying baby to the bus, monorail, etc

Don't know how young of an infant you're talking about. But the strollers at MK, Epcot and AK do not recline (they are hard plastic), so your baby would have to be completely sitting up on his/her own to safely use them. I *think* the ones at MGM recline, but I've never rented one there so I don't know how they'd be for an infant.

You might consider bringing along your own inexpensive umbrella stroller (that you know your infant would be comfortable in) and save money on renting.

This depends on how old your infant is. We've taken two trips with a 6 month old and brought our own stroller each trip. As one poster said, the strollers at MK and AK are hard plastic. The ones at MGM and Epcot are not plastic and the infant can lay in them- we found these fine. We also brought along a carrier for waiting in line and the trips to/from the hotel. They get heavy holding them in lines for rides. Once the kids were older, we used the rentals. They are fine for us- the kids just lay down and take a nap in them when needed.
