Infant beds

I have read that some of the resorts provide baby bed if you request them. We we did, but then I also read that they can either give you an actual crib or a pack n' play for the child to sleep in? Does anyone know if POFQ provides cribs or pack n' plays? Any help would be appreciated.

I've always received a pack n play never a real crib.

Last Feb at PQFQ, we received a Pack n Play also. it was allready set up in the room with a Disney sheet on it. You need to bring your own blankets. It fits nicely in the "closet" area by the sinks and you can pull the curtain to give a little privacy from the room so the baby will sleep.

Most of the resorts have a pack and play right in the room now (deluxe resorts anyway). Pack and play has sheets, you might want to bring baby's own blanket

I've requested a "crib" three times and I always get a pack and play. I've never had a problem with it - even when I had two in the room at once! I bring my own sheets and blankets.

I had a real crib at POFQ - it was on wheels so it was great to move it around the room if necessary. This was a number of years ago so maybe they don't have them anymore? All other resorts were pack'n'play except for the Treehouses back in 2000 -- real crib there too.

You don't always get a real baby bottom sheet either -- sometimes just a regular bed sheet folded up. I always took my own pack'n'play fitted sheets along with blankets. HTH

There are some great posts about this on the Family forum. It seems that the Pack n Plays are all they provide now. There are some off-site services that get good reviews for renting full size cribs if you need one, though.

I got a real crib at POFQ when we went. It was metal and reminded me of an crib you see in a orphanage. Our past couple of trips we noticed the pack and plays where stored in the closets.
