Can anyone recommend some good, inexpensive souvenirs from WDW for my coworkers?
Thanks!

Hi! On the last several trips, I started buying the larger boxes of candy and coffee for the people in my area. That way I didn't have to buy for individual people and wouldn't forget anyone.

One thing everyone really liked is the Mickey Mouse pretzels and you can get a big bag for $2.49.

Hope this helps!

you can get inexpensive ink pens ($3-4) with a variety of characters on them. I like these for coworkers because it is something they can use at work!

I have heard of people buying little nail files for the ladies at work. Also hot chocolate sets sold in threes I think that you can break up and give to three people.

I know this sounds weird but for my last trip my mom wanted the little soaps that you get in the Disney Hotels. She thought that was the cutest thing and best of all they were free. ::yes::

I bought a 4-pack of keychain flashlights for $10. Couldn't find individiual keychains for less than $4 each, so this was a pretty good deal. Also saw cute set of 6 pens (nice designs, but did not look at the price). I would guess between $12-16.:earsgirl: :earsgirl:

Last time we went, I purchased a big can of Mickey Coffee for our work coffee area. I also purchased a pack of sugar cubes that were in the shape of Mickey heads. The problem with these is that they were so "cute" that no one would open the package to use them!! It was so much easier than worrying about getting something for everyone individually. We now use the Mickey coffee can as our "coffee donation" can.

Also, there are soaps in the China store that are $1. They had jasmine scent, rose, etc. I bought several for myself and used them up immediately! There are also inexpensive screen fans (they look like a miniature tennis racquet, but with a painted screen instead of the strings). These were fairly inexpensive too.

I dido the ink pens. I had a friend from work who brought back the pens from the set and gave us all one. I loved using that pen.

You can also buy Mickey-shaped hand soaps for around $1 I think. That is what I'm planning on buying for all the ladies in my Sunday School class.

In epcot I believe in mexico they have someone making glass sculptures and I bought a few little ones for about $3 a piece for co-workers. They were real cute.

Some of the gifts we've brought back were fudge from the Main St. bakery, small tins of mints (be advised these are a little strong), post cards, die cut note pads with a magnetic strip on the back, Mickey ears rice krispie treats, and bags of chocolate covered Mickey pretzels. Last trip I found a neat set of magnets in the kitchen shop in Liberty Square. Each has a Walt Disney quote and there were about 14 of them in the set. I don't remember exactly what I paid for them but I'm sure it was less than $15 and may have been less than $10. HTH:)

All the ideas already given are great!

I brought back Mickey head suckers once... found them at the candy store in DTD.

I also recommend hitting the outlet if you have time, you never know what you'll find there =)

I second the outlet idea -- I got lots of stuff for my kids that way, too.

And I also second the notion of "group gifts" Some folks feel awkward receiving an individual gift, like they are now obligated to give you something next time they go anywhere... but for some reason, a well-placed tin of Mickey truffles, pretzels, cookies, or coffee will ALWAYS get scarfed up! And you don't have to worry about "leaving anyone out". I have a work area of easily 10 immediate folks, and another 20 I interface with, same for DH -- to buy individually for that many people would be a nightmare.

The mints -- as someone already noted -- are strong. Think Altoids. But they come in a really cute tin (I got the large tin and then kept it after the office ate all the mints! Makes a cute pencil box). The mints are tiny but cute -- you can please lots of folks with these, because there are so many mints in the tin! A 10 oz tin has about 600 mints! The mints are small -- a bit larger than tic-tacs and shaped like Disney characters. I think they also come in Cinnamon (a pinkish color) -- I got the white peppermints. Salt water taffy (which I got with the mints at Seashore Sweets on the boardwalk) is also a "hit" in my office, as are Mickey pretzels. I also got some really cute Mickey "Shorts" shortbread cookies in DTD. Nice with coffee!

Thanks for the great ideas, DISers! You guys rock! I am going to print this page out and take it with me.

I have a quick question....where is the outlet a few of you talked about is it in DTD?

Magnets were a bit hit with my office coworkers.:D

There are some nice, inexpensive photos frames, too, for family members.

Hey, dont forget about mickey pasta!!!! that way they can share it with their family and you can help spread the magic!!!::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo

I agree on the magnets, perfect to decorate your co-workers filing cabnets. everyone loves the stuffed disney animals with magnets in the feet & hands that I have. I'm not sure if they still have them but they were around $5-6 @ World of Disney in DTD. I have tigger & cha cha (the frog from rainforest cafe)

I would get key chains, beanies, pens, magnets, towels. Then I got smarter and only bought the managers gifts, and a box of taffy for everyone else.
