Inexpensive homemade items to sell at a bazaar?

Do you sew? If so you could make kid friendly items like purses from cute placemats and ribbon/or another material. Baby bibs and burp cloths, fleece hats and matching scarves.

If you have a hot glue gun you can make decorate candy trains. Use a pack of gum (skinny and long pack ~10 sticks), glue a roll of life savers on top. Then glue peppermint rounds for wheels, and add a Hershey's kiss/or Crunch Bell for the smoke stack.

Ribbon hairbands- using a thick elastic band tie colorful ribbon strips to it.

Ribbon barretts- weave thin (1/16") ribbon through slotted barretts, tie the end and leave plenty to dangle in hair. You can add beads to the bottom if you want.

We have made the reindeer food for several years. I gave it to everyone at work a few years ago (100 people). It is inexpensive to make, we use plain oats and glitter. The glitter is supposed to sparkle in the snow so the deer can see it. I don't have the little note that goes with it handy, I bet you could find one online.

I have a poem! I have heard different ones, but here is the one I use:

Sprinkle on the lawn at night,
The moon will make it sparkle bright;
Santa's reindeer fly and roam,
This will guide them to your home

Wonderful ideas - thanks so much!

DH also told me that we should have a "make your own" bracelet booth". My only issue with that would be how easy would it be for the little ones to do so? I am sure we can figure out something.

I will find out tonight for sure if we are going to have the bazaar. That will give me time to get my P's and Q's together (maybe even literally, LOL).
