Its last minute but i'd like to make Easter Baskets for my sunday school class.

Anyone know of a good place to buy some at a reasonable (cheap!) price?

I'll need 20, medium sized, plastic or otherwise.

Hope all you shopping experts can help!

TIA.

:thumbsup2 I'd check your local goodwill store or how about a plastic bucket type of basket or for Sunday school how about a favor sack or white lunch bag and put stickers on it?? have fun.

I would check the Dollar Store or a Party supply store (they sell cheapie pencils, cups, erasers, etc).

Good luck... that's very nice of you :)

Thanks for the replies!

Have you seen them at any particular dollar store?

Also like the idea of bags, if i can't find baskets, thanks!

Check with your local grocery store to seeif they have any strawberry baskets. They make cute Easter baskets and they aren't so huge.

Not as cheap as if you were able to get them at a dollar store, but I saw a huge container of them at Walmart for $1.99 each. They were the typical multicolored weave kind with the tall handles. I believe they were plastic.

Walmart, Hobby Lobby, and I think the Dollar Tree sell Plastic Easter dinking glasses that are very cute and cheap anywhere from 4-5 for a dollar. Fill with grass colorful and easy they don't need decorated and if filled with grass don't need a lot to fill.

You can get the chipwood traditional baskets at Walgreens this week for only .50 cents! Regular price is a whopping $1.00. Nice idea you have. I hope you have a Walgreens near you.

Even Target sells these colorful chipwood baskets for $1.00.

Target has the most adorable bags and little basket/buckets in the dollar bins. Their Easter selection is so cute and affordable.

how about sand pails? I love using them for baskets. They are cheap and they have a use. Fill them with grass, candy and a few toys and instant easter basket!

Thank you ALL soo very much, you're the best.

And such great ideas, for both my SS class AND now others!

Thanks again!

(and keep them coming! :))
