Inexpensive checks for account-Help

I need to purchase some checks for my checking account. The bank charges $17.00 for checks. I am looking for a cheaper place to purchase checks. My checks use to be free but not anymore. Does anyone know where I can purchase inexpensive checks.

Thank you so much for posting this! I just got online to order my DH some business checks and saw this thread (thanks OP!) and used the code successfully. For his order we got 4 boxes of duplicates *and* free address labels for $34.00 shipped.

I get mine from Walmart.

My last box was around $5.95, but I think there was s/h, so the above deal might be better.

Another vote for Walmart! I was suprised at how quickly I got my checks - I declined all the extras and still got them in about five days.
