Here we go. :teeth:

1. What months would be good for you? We'll say March through to October so more people can drive. May is not a good choice, since the race stuff takes all month. The other races aren't nearly as bad, we just have to avoid those weekends. Does anyone know perchance when those races are? I'll have to look them up so we can take them off any schedule.

2. I think it would be a good idea to have two meets. One to go to the Indy Zoo and Childrens' Museum, and one possibly in September at possibly a state park south of here, like McCormicks Creek or Brown County. What do you think?

3. We had the last meet at a nice restaurant called The Loon Lake Lodge. Do we want something like that again, or do we want to be more casual?

I will say again, anyone is invited. :)

March is pretty free for me (except the 1st weekend). April will probably have a Chicago meet which is fine but we should make sure they aren't the same weekend since location-wise they are so close, but otherwise is good. June is fine here too. July looks terrible for meets for me and the rest of the summer is okay for me :)

I like the idea of the Zoo and all that and a restaurant is always good with me too.

Just my thoughts on it :)

That's exactly what I want helenabear. I may be planning this thing, but it's for everyone who can come.
I want everyone's ideas.

Stay away from March, May, & July if possible..They seem to be busiest..
June may have a Cincinnati meet..
I'll work around whatever dates you have as long as you stay away from May...

April or May are good months for me. March we have too many B-days and June is always busy. Any of those places would be great. If we did the Zoo or Childrens Museum there is always the Circle Centre Mall we could go to. There is a Disney store in that mall. Just some thoughts for everyone. :D

Hi Brian, you did a great job in chat last Sunday

I just want to go somewhere that I can talk to everyone. A regular restaurant makes that difficult, although it was fun getting Kara to eat rattlesnake at Loon Lodge ;) Besides they ran us off after two hours, I think.

The park sounds fun but I will go where ever y'all decide. Provided my daughterly responsibilities do not require my presence :)

I sure hope you'll be able to come Katholyn. :)

If you plan it for anytime except mid April through mid May I'd love to come. (That's Derby Festival time here, very busy at work!)
Loon Lake Lodge was fun but the zoo sounds great!!! I love the Indy zoo!!! And Brown County sounds even better, not a bad drive at at all and a wonderful place to spend an afternoon.

Once again, Serena is on top of things! Thanks!

When are Spring Breaks for everybody? Ours is the first week of April (and we will be gone.....).

well gee...since i have to drive oh so far to get there...;)

heehee...anywhere's fine with me!! i've never been to the loon lake lodge, but i only live about 5 miles from it!! i'm all for the zoo too...brown county is really nice...especially in the fall!! that's a must!!

something downtown could be fun too! the circle center area...there are a ton of restaurants there...

it really makes no difference to me as to when this meet is...as long as it isn't valentine's day weekend or the weekend of june 21...

let me know if you need any help laurie!!

2003 race weekends:

Indianapolis 500: May 25, 2003

Brickyard 400: August 2, 2003

US Nationals (Drag Racing): August 29 - September 1, 2003

US Grand Prix: September 28, 2003

Ok March 31-April 5th I'll be in Las Vegas shakin with Thunder From Down Under and The CHippendales:p :o

June 7-14th will be in WDW.

Other than that I'm game. Btw, Serena what about P.F Changs or Champs in Circle Center. Shopping and eating is a great combination:p

Princess Ariel, I love P. F. Chang's, its one of my favorite restaurants, although the one in Circle Center is much smaller than the one at Keystone. Really anything sounds good to me. I love the zoo. I haven't been to the Children's museum before, would adults without children find it interesting as well? I am fairly new to the area (8 months) so just about anything would be different and exciting to SO and I (two native floridians). We have been down to the Brown County area for a play before, and talked about going back again to have more time to look around.

I don't know if anyone has brought this up in the past, but during the summer they have these Symphony on the Prairie nights at Conner Prairie (the living history museum, which is fun itself). It is in a big outside amphitheater. Before the show starts there is a huge picnic where everyone brings there own food, or you can get it catered by Conner Prairie, or you can eat at Persimmons, the Conner Prairie restaurant. You can set up your own lawn chairs and blankets or rent these large tables. The tables also allow you to have center seating. They do not have this years events calendar updated for the symphony yet, but last year they had special symphany nights called Prairie Pops. They had special guest conductors, we saw John McDaniel of Rosie O'Donnell fame, as well as actual broadway singers come to accompany some of the sets. It was a lot of fun.

There ar lots of great restraunts downtown, The Spaghetti Factory, Champs, and there is always Julians. Just some more to think about.:D

How does this sound????
How about we meet somewhere early. A group can go to the Children's Museum, another group can go to the zoo, or something else.
All the groups can meet back at the mall downtown, Circle Centre Mall for dinner and we can either see a movie, or some can go to the other attractions near by.
