Indoor CS restaurants?

Does anyone know a site that lists each counter service restaurant in WDW, and tells whether the seating is indoors or outdoors?

I know that all the resort CS are indoors, and can think of several park CS that have indoor seating (Sunshine Seasons, Backlot Express, etc.). But some have strictly outdoor seating (Kringla, Flame Tree, etc.).

I would like to know this, because in past trips we have always broken our park days up with a table service meal at lunch as the parks are getting crowded and hot. We are thinking about getting the quick service dining plan for next summer's trip, and would still like that midday lunch break in the air conditioning.

I do not know where you might find a list but I know that in the MK there are several that have indoor seating:

Cosmic Rays
Columbia Harbour House
Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station
Pinocchio Village Haas

In Epcot
Electric Umbrella
Liberty Inn

I thought Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station was outside seating? Where is the indoor part?

MK Tomorrowland Terrace is outdoor seating but all undercover and with big fans. But that doesn't mean it is actually comfortable in the heat of summer.

Epcot Tangerine Cafe has some indoor seating but they tend to keep their doors open so I think the comfort level may vary depending on how close you are to the doors.

DHS Backlot Express is mostly indoor seating.
DHS Studio Catering is outdoors, undercover, big fans.
DHS Pizza Planet is mostly indoor seating.

This is a great question,when deciding on the quick service plan, because if you hate to eat in the heat like myself and are looking for air conditioning you will have certain restrictions where to eat at in the parks. This is something that would not work for me and I live in the hottest place in the south, Georgia, and I just cant imagine going to WDW eating the majority of my meals under a fan,unless I eat at the resorts, but then that may become a time problem,Same reason I am torn about the dinnig plan with the 3 table services. I do know that this plan will work for some ,but for the heat hater it would only work later on in the year, but it would be nice if we could get a list of Quick Service places that will offer cool air on a hot day. Whatever plan that you choose is what works for you,there is no wrong dinning plan when your eating at WDW

A great question! I have started a list for my sweltering aug '09 trip. A few I noticed.

MK: Cosmic Rays, Columbia Harbour House, Pinocchio Village Haus,
Epcot: Yakitory, Sunshine Seasons, Electric Umbrella, Liberty Inn
DHS: ABC Commissary, Backlot Express, Toy Story Pizza Planet
AK: Restaurantosaurus, Pizzafari

All of these should be air conditioned. Now as far as the food goes...

has indoor seating also. They also have some outdoor. On the hottest days in the prime dining times, the indoor seating can be difficult to get.

Pinocchio's Village Haus has a little balcony upstairs with only about 8 tables. If it's open, hardly anyone goes up there. One year it was so hot out, I got lunch and an iced tea, went upstairs, took my shoes off, put my feet up, and watched the goings-on downstairs for about an hour. What was really nice was that the Fantasyland Sax group came and played downstairs during that time.

Oops you are right, for some reason I thought I remembered sitting inside, but it was just undercover. Ah the memory is just not as good as it used to be.

Like you said,,,the parks are hot and crowded............
Don't rule out the RESORTS!!!!
It isn't too much work to jump on a Resort bus and go to their
Counter Service (food Court)
Our favorite is Coronado Springs PepperMarket.
Especially if you are on the DDP it is a must!
Their Nacho platter is enough for at least 2 !
Eat lunch, tour the resort and just pop back on the bus
to the park you were at!

WOW! Great question! I am really glad someone though to ask this, I didnt even think of it. All of the counter service we had on our last trip was inside, lol. This year we are hoping to expand our horizons, last time we did, Cosmic Rays, Pizza Planet and 3 meals at POP!
