Individual Castle Cakes & Chocolate Name Plate

Most people only seem to order them while at the GF, I'm guessing that the bakery that makes them and the wedding items is at the GF. The kitchens at the other restaurants/hotels probably do not have the necessary equipment or supplies to make the specialized desserts.

Thanks so much for all the compliments. I appreciate it - especially after some of the comments on other boards. But oh well...

I really don't know how much they cost or where you can get them. Disney wanted to show the mini cakes - which are a popular wedding trend - and we were very lucky to have Disney give them to us - even if it was for TV.

Our wedding was at the Boardwalk - so it might be possible at resorts other than the Grand. I just don't know.

But they were yummy! Almond cake with amaretto mousse filling. We have one in the freezer waiting for our year anniversary!

Ann, first of all, congratulations!!! My DD13 has decided now after the show that she is getting married someday at Disney!!! I told her I appreciate the warning, I've got to start saving now!!!!LOL:bride:

Could you please tell me which motel makes these, what is Grand Florian??? Not sure the right name...

Also, does anyone have the bakery number?

That Chocolate Mickey is fantastic! I WANT!
Where can I get the dessert at WDW?

You can get the white chcolate mickey with the gold accents, and tuxedo strawberries at the yacht and beach club. It is on there room service ammenities menue , but be prepared it will set you back $50.00!

I believe it's also on the BWV menu and of course GF.

$50 total? As in with room service fees, or is it $50 even if you walked into a restaurant and ordered it.
Whew!

Yes, it's $50 for BOTH Mickey and Strawberries but I believe you can just get Mickey at least at some resorts for $25.

Ann,

First off, congratulations! What a beautiful wedding you had!

Secondly, I am not sure of what other people have said on the community board, but take everything here with a grain of salt.

It's nice to have you here.

Now, about that wedding. As I watched that show, I cried. Everything they showed was so beautiful!
I told my daughter (18) that she needs to get married at WDW!

First...we need to get her through college and get a boyfriend!!!

Congrats on your wedding...many happy years to you and your groom!
